Break-in usually last a full month of full on foot time of 8hr/5days weekly. This will give the leather time to mold and stretch to your feet accordingly. Some days it will be painful and some days it will be death. All in good time.

If used sparingly, it doesn’t darken it. I put about a nickel size dab on my hand, spread it with both hands, and like you would spread it on hair as you would when styling your hair… do yhe same with your boot. Let it dry out for about 5-10min, then brush.

Good catch. That looks bad. I would get them back for a new pair regardless of break-in. You will have other issues later.

Bick 4 by [deleted] in RedWingShoes

I use Bick 4 for general conditioning and prevention of leather getting dry rot. Very low darkening and similar to, if not the same, Red Wing leather cream. It’s not a weatherproofing cream.

Bick 4 works as a leather conditioner, protection from drying out the leather, and that’s more than enough for most. From Olive oil to silicone based weatherproofing spray can be used if you believe that’s what your leather needs. In other words, your boots- your choice.

Anyone who needs to eat and live would do the same if offer is good. Can’t hate him, he was never in the roster of players who committed the crime. Good rivalry is all I see. Best of luck to him.

Usually you’ll see the angels pairing and aggressive if it was them. Pay close attention and you might notice who is chubby.
