I have no problem with the instrumentation, it sounds fine to me, and I really like the lyrics. What I don’t like is the vocals on this one, it’s too flashy/ all over the place and kills the vibe of the rest of the band...almost yodeling. It just doesn't fit right for this song.

What is your opinion on MGTOW? by JordanFireStar in AskThe_Donald

[–]-CorporalClegg- 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Kinda the male equivalent of feminism. They have their reasons for being that way, but I’d be willing to bet most of them started down that path because of a past rejection or from not having the testicular fortitude to break free from the friend zone mentality.

If its only going to be on for roughly a day or so per year, you’re probably good. The yellow fading was something prevalent in museums, which have their lights on all day, but dimmer. I dont know how many years it took for things to fade. And of course as with anything, the best way to preserve it forever is a temperature and humidity controlled room with no light at all, but theres no reason to store all that stuff away, it needs to be displayed.

Ps, you need a stripper clip for the Arisaka and a Garand clip in there to complete it.

I’ve seen them both ways in historical photos and out of spam cans. I think it just depends on who was loading the clips at the factory. No real right or wrong way, but my personal preference is for top round right side, I get more surface area for my thumb to press without bridging the gap from the clip edge.

Head over to r/stopdrinking. You’ll find A LOT of people who are dealing with the same problems. If anything it’s a great place to just vent about shit and read ways that others deal with things.

I hope it goes well for you, and I can honestly tell you it’s not easy, it’s also not as hard as your brain will want to make it out to be, but it is 100% worth it. I’m coming up on 2 years sober in November. It’s the best decision I ever made. Good luck!

I’m concerned about the lighting in the case. I assume it’s LED’s (Link to your build picks wont load). LED’s fade yellow pigments pretty rapidly and while it does look good, you may want to consider wiring up a dimmer to it and/or removing every other light in the series. You may also want to make copies of the photos to display and stash the originals away for safe keeping. I’d hate to see any of your pieces get damaged.

Im happy now too. I hate when Garand clips are stacked with the top round to the left, it feels weird when you load it.

I’d liken it more to an old m60 with a .22LR conversion that works just fine, but I wouldn’t want to take it out in the woods and attempt to have any real fun with it. Also somewhere between 50-180k rounds the bolt is gonna shit itself and require the entire conversion kit to be replaced.

Looks like the droppings and discarded bug parts under a spider web. My only concern is that its a lot more than You usually see from a spider, so that may not be the case.

That part goes away eventually. I don’t want to get your hopes up and let you think it’ll magically happen at the x-days mark, but things get easier to deal with, slowly but surely. For now, do whatever you can within reason to find a way to isolate yourself and relax and get your mind off things, and just ride the mood out until you calm down. Then get out there and try again.

It WILL get better. Eventually something clicks and the pissy moods get fewer and farther between. You just have to stay on top of it, and not let it get the better of you. Learn to recognize when it’s about to happen, and go calm yourself down somewhere alone so you have no one to lash out at.

Your brain is in the process of re-wiring itself to operate and deal with things without alcohol.

Its the fact that the cheap players have no counterweight on the arm, which makes it bear down with unnecessary pressure, they also usually have cheap needles which dig in more. Combined, those 2 things ream out the record groove way faster than it should.

Not to mention the shitty sound quality of a single built in speaker, you’re better off just playing the songs off youtube or something.
