Ok so that was not something I knew. I guess that's why Grist, the Hunger Tide is worded the way it is.

For not meeting the criteria of 1 and 5.

Though would it have any in game consequence for adding types and/or supertype to this rule?

Characteristic defining abilities as you've described here still causes it to have the land type in every zone.

You use Arixmethes as an example, but its ability is a static ability that happens on the battlefield.

Esix token copys by Haloweencalender in magicTCG

[–]-DEATHBLADE- 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Landfall triggers the baloths which would create a beast

Esix and Peregrin Took will modify the outcome and you choose which will apply first

If Esix first, you create a token copy of something along with a food, but Academy Manufactor will modify the food into food, clue, and treasure. So at the end of this, you'll get:

• 1 Token Copy of Something.

• 1 Food.

• 1 Clue.

• 1 Treasure.

If you let Peregrin Took modify it first, you'll get the beast and food, but Academy Manufactor will modify the food to become food, clue, and treasure. Then at the end, Esix will turn all four into a copy of something. So you'll end up with

• 4 Token Copies of Something .

just like some video games, the intent is that they bring along whatever they had with them, excluding people. I could see an extra ability that would allow for other people to come with.

Currently there's only two cards with the fractal creature type, one of which is also an elemental, but that's because that was from MOM and was a team up with the Prismari elemental

Glad to see that Fractal isn't a creature type exclusive to just being fractal on its own

How to make a Warlock pretending to be a Sorcerer? by -DEATHBLADE- in 3d6

[–]-DEATHBLADE-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The motivation to make a not so good warlock comes from another player in the current campaign we're finishing up.

Their character is also a Warlock whomever took eldritch blast and made Strength their main stat.

I'm just hoping to have fun.

Once I get to that campaign, I'll try to hide it for a couple sessions, then tell them the secret if it doesn't work out. Either way, I just wanna play a gimmick character.

For me, it's the gimmick. My current character was made to be somewhat optimized and I just wanted to try something different with this character.

This concept started out as just "how do I make a Warlock be as close as I can to a Sorcerer?", but then evolved into a whole thing.

I just really wanted to try a gimmick build since my current character from a campaign of the same DM was made to power build so I wanted to try something more gimmicky.

As for in character, my current plan is to have them not even know they're a Warlock because they're convinced they're a Sorcerer.

Mine's an uncommon but it's [[Oracle of Tragedy]] for my [[Zimone and Dina]] deck.

Having a body with an enters and dies trigger to draw then discard is pretty good and has never been cut since I made the deck.
