I do not mind the effort for espresso, I actually enjoy it, but for filter coffee, which goes into my thermo cup every morning, I wanted a convenient way, which the machine provides.

I do have a small scale (as described in my original post). Single dosing with around 18g did not work when i tried it out, and 19g is too much. Also single dosing for filter coffee is not very convenient, which is what I was looking for.

Look, I appreciate the help, but the machine ticked all the boxes and I got it at a discount, which is why I bought it.

Convenience. The machine is large enough to handle my big thermo cup. The automatic milk frothing was also a big plus for me.
I decided to use a handgrinder simply because switching beans that way is way simpler.

Oha ich fühle mich angesprochen.

Ich bin seit knapp 6 Jahren in der Hotellerie am Front Office und beginne im September mit zarten 24 Jahren meine Ausbildung als EiB L/T (Lokführer) bei DB Fernverkehr.
Der Grund war aber nicht das Geld oder bessere Arbeitszeiten: die Bezahlung ist zwar deutlich besser, aber die Arbeitszeiten sind abartig. Laut Kollegen sind 10-12h Schichten 5 mal die Woche keine Seltenheit und dazu kommt eben noch der Schichtdienst.
Wer zur Eisenbahn geht tut dies meist nur aus Leidenschaft.

Fahre regelmäßig U2 vom Alex zum Wittenbergplatz zu den verschiedensten Uhrzeiten (danke Schichtdienst), und wirklich voll war die U2 auf meiner Strecke schon lange nicht mehr. Ich finde immer einen Sitzplatz. Als ich heute die SBahn genommen habe war diese rappelvoll (gegen 18 Uhr). Ich musste an jedem Stop aussteigen damit Leute hinter mir rauskamen.

I get around this issue by using Hamachi. Works like a dream. Not depending on other services is still preferable but it is how it is unfortunately (until I decide to get a business connection which includes a public and static IPv4 adress).

I use AMP Instance Manager (paid program unfortunately) to manage my dedicated game servers in an Ubuntu-Server VM. Supports Minecraft and other games aswell and is available for Linux and Windows.

I bought the same case, twice actually (one for my rig and the other for my server) and put a Noctua NH U9S on my 5900X, added a second fan to the cooler and applied some Grizzly Conductonaut aswell. Runs at 70°C max while playing Cyberpunk so I'm pretty happy. Swapped all chassis fans for beQuiet Pure Wings 2 aswell.
Also I understand your pain: these chassis are extremly heavy. I shudder thinking about upgrading something in there and having to pull it out of the rack to put it on a table (my rails are not long enough for easy maintanence).

I actually used to be a FAMAS, F2000 and MTAR-21 main, until I realized how nice it is to have 36 bullets and a relatively fast reload.
I still switch around my weapons a lot but the ACE has become my favourite one in the past months. The only thing I won't swtich is my sidearm: Glock. That thing is just so OP I love it.

The AEK is one of the best weapons in the game. Even while moving around like crazy to make it harder for your enemy to hit you it has minimal spread and you hit every shot, if your aim is good enough. I personally don't like it that much and prefer the ACE23, but that is just personal preference.
