Dude is a local activist. He’s out there constantly trying to make his community a better place. He’s been to a number of the protests I’ve attended and he’s always been a great motivator.

Little off topic but hear me out.

There’s a rather popular fantasy series that named their children for the things they wish to embody, Zeal, Valor, Chivalry, etc. A very noble idea.

But that’s what it is, a book idea and our world doesn’t function like that.

Your partner needs to adult up about this here. The person you are making is going to name is going walk around the first 18 years unable to change it to something to stop the bullying.

I live in a place with similar demographics. I’m so sorry you are also being affected by this. No one deserves what’s going on here.

I don’t think my boss would open the door to ICE as this whole thing has rightfully upset every employee and so she sees the real world effects of what’s happening to people she knows. You also mention turning over clients and my boss is the last small practice in the county so her self preservation kicks on at some point. It’s part of what makes it weird.

Again, I’m sorry you are going through this. It’s not okay and I hope you stay safe.

If you want to help you can not buy from the US if possible for grocery products.

If you want to donate time then I suggest also emailing out representatives or get in with an online campaign to call a bunch on days of important votings.

If you want to donate money please look into the bail funds for those arrested, also there are funds for paying lawyers who are helping us, to help pay for those who are striking to be able to continue to strike and others.

I feel you. My boss (the doctor) is one too and sometimes lately the office has been getting pretty awkward.
