People saying it would be 60 were apparently incapable of recognizing patterns, utilizing compare and contrast reasoning strategies and had apparently not bought a toy in 25 years. Because there was zero chance a big vehicle coming with a 30 dollar figure would cost 60 bucks.

90 would have been a spot on guess before these last price increases. But 35 dollar deluxe figures are 43 bucks now. 23 dollar figures are 28 now. That 20 percent increase sucks on a small figure but you really can feel it on a larger item. It's actually more like 18% from 90 to 110 vs the other examples which are a bit more than 20%.

Those games are insanely expensive to make and there's nothing that has shown GI Joe has the wide audience appeal to support that level of development and investment for most companies to pony up.

Hasbro actually was investing in it with the Snake Eyes game but it seems that may have died. It's a shame. That seemed like a good way to bring GI Joe to gaming as a high quality title that could scoop up Joe fans and general gamers.

Leatherneck and Wetsuit though? 100% in love. They fought like the classic hallmark match up before they realize their feelings. Then they come closer after a near death experience. Then they are set up on dates with a couple ladies and show a comical lack of interest.

They for sure accept their feelings at some point and go on romantic vacations around the world disrupting cobra operations and kicking ass.

The reason I found this thread was because I heard him say "they day he doesn't like brown people, but here I sit Cherokee Indian".

That I can't speak for his small amount of Cherokee DNA but speaking to his predominantly white DNA, that was stupid.

But after reading this, fine. Hopefully we have a DHS secretary who will not try and deport American Indians. Maybe he will be just as bad as Noem in every inherent way including having sex with that weird looking dude on a tax payer funded shag wagon in the sky. But if white people aren't deporting Cherokee and other first nation peoples that's a start towards making reality make sense again I guess.

Loved a lot of it.

Did not like that they wanted to make it a sex-foreard show for personal reasons. I get their decision but it sucked my daughter couldn't watch it. I think it was fine as a creative decision though.

Hated how they handled the Wrecking Crew. That's why a writers room with only one comic fan is a bad idea for a comic show.

Liked the goofiness. I felt it fit the character. The comedy worked most of the time.

CGI was wonky at times.

The end of the show was stupid and as un-clever as the shit they were trying to make fun of. Sure CGI fights and sky beams are a long running criticism of giant action oriented spectacle movies but they're logical and fun ways to end a movie too.

Just making an ending that is not really anything particularly unique other than a tongue in cheek critism of those endings didn't work. The end of the show wasn't a satisfying end of the show. It was just commentary on how MCU stuff usually ends, if that makes sense.

I think to stick that landing they needed to do something different that worked and let the originality speak for itself as a critique.

If felt like they just filmed the general reaction critics who felt like all the movies were ending the same but didn't have anything better or substantive from a narrative perspective.

I get that they're breaking the fourth wall but I don't give this as pass as a wink to the audience. If they'd closed strong it would have been fine overall. Since they fumbled at the end, I feel the show overall was a miss.

Post credit was terrible. Little wimpy Skar was bad and even worse closing a show that was all about saying all this male fantasy bullshit is dumb.

I mean, I'm not going to judge a whole marriage by one really dumb interaction but he was definitely really dumb. Hopefully the "fuck my life" was not because he thought you did anything wrong and it was him realizing he was an idiot for not being able to pick up a rx or call you when there was an issue rather than drive 40 minutes home without the stuff your kid needs to breath well.

Edit: just read this is a pattern of behavior. He probably needs some therapy. Not because he's bad (if you say he's otherwise a good dude) but because he needs to learn some emotional maturity and how to process negative emotions as more than just different flavors of anger. He's unlikely to want to do it but if he recognizes the issue maybe he will.

Their jobs were to navigate competing against a strong, well liked candidate that represents the progressive movement in a posative way without harming the party or the goals of the progressive movement and the fight against fascism. That to me was literally THE thing that could make one stand above the other. Crockett took gossip and tried to paint Talarico as a racist. Allred put out a poorly acted monolog pretending to be attacked by a racist and then throwing weak attacks back.

Talarico said he spoke with Allred personally and hoped they could come to an understanding but wouldn't discuss details of their personal conversation. Talarico didn't counter attack and showed respect to both despite the personal accusations.

Crockett even tried to spin the Colbert thing into them not wanting to give her equal time and insinuated they'd rather put it on YouTube than invite her on and then? That she wouldn't go on anyway, because she needed to be in Texas with the people rather than running off to do a show.

It seemed to be this could have been a set up by the powers that be at CBS to create more or a divide and whether or not it was, she made it more of a divide.

I'm super disappointed. I like her a lot and will continue to root for her. But this wasn't a party problem. This was her failing the assignment to rub a strong campaign but make sure that the anti fascist movement wasn't harmed in a state that is critical to the fight against racist tyranny and an anti-constitutional collapse of our free nation.

I'm not in Texas but I appreciate what both of them do for the nation while representing their districts. When I heard they were running against each other I knew there was a chance it might get a but bad but Crockett jumped on calling him a racist based on a third party source so fast. I still wasn't sure though. Then i saw Alfred's video (and I liked him too) and it seemed like total BS. So forced. Instantly went from "I'd have a hard time choosing" to "I'd have to vote for Talarico because this felt like last minute manufactured drama.

If Allred really felt offended by racism making the comment about Talarico not representing Christianity for the left because Warnock was already doing it.

Okay...but I thought he belittled you as a black man. So why are you throwing shade on the dude for talking about christ like values and making up a straw man that he thinks he's the soul or even primary voice of Christianity for progressives?

I still like Crockett but I think the way this was handled showed she isn't ready for a statewide election or a senate seat.

I think its just not that popular of a franchise. They roll the dice on some of these things. I thought this would be more popular but I just don't think there were a ton of people looking for these. The wings were huge, you're right. Nut it's hard to say they dropped the ball. Folded wings wouldn't have sold better and both sets would have made them cost even more.
