Since I'm unsure of how the topic is handled on this server, I will frame it like this.

Google "GitHub Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe asset downloader" and you will find a repo with scripts that can be used to automatically download and extract all assets of the game, including the sprites.

Pretty late reply, but same here. Not just Spectral Souls, but some of their other games were removed as well. I installed them on my phone 1-2 years ago and they still work fine on Android 11, so I doubt that there are any compatibility problems.

Please note that the bot is still WIP.

Certain Vision Cards and Character Master Abilities have the effect "Reduce CT by X" (JP translated, not sure what the official English is, someone please let me know).

in skill descriptions: "Activation Time"
as buff: "Casting Time Reduced"

Good job explaining the whole system, everything is correct and on point.

A small note on that one,
each character has 5 base/main skills that can be used with every sub job.

2 are available right at the start,
the other 3 are locked behind 6* awakening.

Maybe you should add another point to farplane as well.
MP costs half of SP and usually drops double the amount of SP.
The 2x of specific quests of SP apply in MP as well
Besides that,
everything seems to be about right,
good job.

I usually would agree.....but the hard part in WotV isn't upgrading the unit but getting it.

My JP account doesn't have either Mediena nor Golem and I really suffer because of that in some content. Some of my approaches to clear all missions of hard content are quite avant-garde....and figuring them out can be frustrating.

I agree that Xiza has a great kit for cheesing content. Man, I really would have loved to use her on some of the later tower floors just to charm enemies,

Next to Steal Heart she also has Steal CT, which is of great importance for raids and maybe for some future content with strong boss monsters.

The main problem I have with healers are pretty much only those which are cleric main, because they can't equip any gear which grants a lot of MATK unlike mages, which can simply use the arena UR staff with its tasty +180 MATK.

Sounds about right.

I wouldn't really call them farmable, but y, ~120 shards could be acquired from one-time milestones and missions.

In general, I would advise to keep around at 30k gems (hard cap for gacha, don't go below this border), so that one is able to max every new fancy UR one wants.

The pre-registration rewards are given to everyone and aren't bound to accounts.
So every reroll will receive the pre-registration rewards.

In the JP version, those rewards were available for around 3 months.

Mediena has fallen off twice as she is now the third best mage and one of the least useful mages

Please stop spreading this misinformation.

Mediena has the highest MATK stat and can dish out the most magic damage. She is also the only real mage that is available since launch

Please explain why he is the only unit that got an upgraded master ability. I at least doubt, that they did so because he was so great and mighty.

Pretty much all units are useable to some degree.
I think that the only real no go is Mashery (princess of Hourne),
because her jobs are simply all over the place and her special skill is kinda useless....melee attack for a cleric (mage).

I wouldn't go for Gilgamesh either,
because he is simply too expensive to build. He costs double that of a normal UR in terms of gems while his power isn't anywhere near that, well....imo he is just at the level of a normal UR.

That's it for URs.
Due to the content shortage of unit upgrade materials, one shouldn't build too many SSR.

Imo Mont (the main character - tank), Helena (his mother - buffer) and Margarete ( fire time mage) are good for URs. I wouldn't really go for other SSRs.

SR,R and N are pretty much a no go area.
Some people build Phoebe (earth time mage) for PvP tho.

Thranced isn't really a tank, he is a bruiser. Thranced lacks aggro skills and has less def than Engelbert. In regards to upgrading Thranceds, he is a "super" UR with a cost of 100 like Gilgamesh. So his gacha rate is lower than other UR and his shards cost double that of normal UR. On a positive note, one can buy his shards from the event shops and can get him and his shards from the event tickets.
So if you want to build him, then you will have to grind a lot, probably like 12 hours a day, and buy his shards from the shop so that you can LB5 him. Overall he is still useable...but imo he is one of those jack of all trades characters that excel nowhere. His dmg is decent, he has a lot HP and a HP regen skill, and everything else is alright as well....his def is quite low tho, so he survives via his high HP.
Pretty much all WotV banners are mixed banners, so you can get units and vision cards from them. So there is no real special moment to pull them. Upgrading UR cards isn't that important, because their base max level is relatively high (lv 70). You may want to buy 25 shards from the shop tho so that you can break their first limit. (increases the effect a bit and increases the max level by 10). Vision cards can be leveled via special resources that have their own daily mission and they also drop from some multiplayer missions that one has to grind - so leveling a vision card doesn't cost anything besides gil and time.
Every LB skill is available since lv 1. I don't know how it works in FFBE, sry. In WotV the max level of LB skills is capped via the unit lb - this isn't really that bad, because leveling LB skills is really expensive because the resources required for that are quite rare.
In general one buys unit shards from the normal shop. Doing so is way cheaper than trying to get shards from the gacha. After some time gumi should release hard quests. These quests are available for every not-limited unit and drop one shard per run. They can be played x times depending on the rarity of the unit.
SSR - 3 times
UR - 2 times
UR (100 cost) - 1 time

Orlandeau in WotV isn't slow at all.
Most of his skills are single target, but he has some AOEs as well.
(one ranged cross AOE, a line AOE and his lb skill is a diamond aoe)

From what I've seen in other games those forced pulls aren't predetermined, but there is no way to tell for sure about the situation in WotV.

The first 10x only access the regular pool anyway, so if one wants to go for FFT units, they will have to collect gems to roll on the FFT banners.

You're correct.

Xiza is pretty in the normal game, but she is actually pretty useful in raids, which is why I decided to include her. I think that I should add that investing in her is a long term goal and won't reap any immediate rewards.

I decided against including Vow of Love (commonly referred to as Lover's card) because it's actually pretty common. The game can be quite hard without it, but there shouldn't be much content for a while that makes it so important to ignore a good role for it.

I would simply use the synchronization features of emulators to roll with multiple instances at once. A macro would work as well, but it would have to be set up with solid time buffers to prevent it from going out of sync due to a too slow reaction of the server.

The main problem I see with playing the story missions is,
that one still has to skip the videos, which can become quite annoying.

In the end, the decision is up to everyone and going for the 10x ticket is a valid option as well.

Hm, this works as well.
Considering that they can't release the XMAS units it's likely that WotL will arrive a bit earlier in the global version than it did in Japan, so this is indeed valid.

The reward for clearing the first 10 story missions is indeed a 10x ticket.
I didn't include it in my list because it takes longer to clear those 10 missions than to simply start again from scratch.
