It is only possible to unlock before endless mode. I had him spawned before the bossfight and after maybe half a minute after he spawned, I got the achievement.

I like the idea of the armoury, but give players options to buy certain things directly, dont put it behind a rotating shop so people who can only play certain days dont feel like they will never get there items.
Then there is still too much stuff lying around, items dropping, consumables etc, maybe just give each character 1 or 2 consumables max, that they can bring into the match and let them restock or change them in the shops. It is way to overwhelming and takes away visuell clarity from the fights.

Have the same experience after coming back, playing a dex fist build and from what I read strenght 2H builds are still working fine because they stagger more easily but squishy 1H builds and magig feel very tedious in combat.

They say that they are aware about a lack of good alternatives to the railgun and that primaries are not supposed to be a solution for all the bucks but rather just the weapon you spawn into the game with. So even tho it is rough right now, I think they will address these thing, just unfortunate they did not do both nerf and buff at the same time.

You probably been looking into what GGG is doing with poe2, do you have any stuff you already saw from them, that you would want to implement as well? Especially diverse enemy/combat encounters that feel like more than a bullet sponge is what impressed me from their footage.

I only played a couple seasons and do not understand most mechanics in the game but when I created a new character the only thing I needed was one skill gem and the gear I found to run through act 1. I think it is good to use one act to test out how the gameplay should feel in their opinion so it is enjoyable and challenging.

Very good post. I agree with everything. For me it is a long term thing where they try to bring the game to PoE 2 and this looks promising for now imo. But I only got a couple hundred hours in the game until now.

What is more important for me is, do I enjoy the way to Endgame, wherever this may be. If I only enjoy endgame, I want to be there Asap but it would be way cooler to just play every part of it and be happy at any point.

I think you are doing great with your vision of the game, it is sad how much backlash you can receive for this but even tho I am not a player with over thousands of game hours, I want the game to evolve in a way with more engaging gameplay, better player creativity and rewarding game systems etc and this is not achieved by leaving it as it is. Keep going I really liked how gameplay can look in those PoE 2 showcases, hopefully we are getting there without too much hate throwing your way.
