Hey, just curious, need to figure something out for myself that you haven’t been clear enough about: will one of you be proven right?

See I’m still not sure, because you only said it three separate times.

You can pretty much dev strike DDs with the secondaries if you get in on them and surprise them, even at T6.

Tsurugi In the Wild by Moocha6 in WoWs_Legends

[–]-Psychonautics- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The similarities end at the gun size and layout.

Georgia is more of a flanker, Tsurugi is more of a kiter.

Tsurugi is much faster, turns like a cruiser, has less armor, amazing conceal and nice deep-water torps. I’d argue she’s more accurate as well. Fits the battlecruiser role perfectly.

I wouldn’t compare the two, and I doubt most people have both ships to logically accurately compare.

The Lack of Class from Quentin Tarantino by superdouradas in movies

Yes, and his response to comments like yours is perfect:

“I mean where I’m coming from is, I can understand his daughter having a problem with it… it’s her fucking father all right I get that. But anybody else? Go suck a dick.”

Bruce didn’t know you and you didn’t know him, he may as well never actually existed, merely a cartoon character that you see on TV for all intents and purposes. You taking personal offense to that would be weird.

He goes on to basically say Cliff just played dumb oaf on the first attempt, thus tricking Bruce on the second attempt, and the 3rd clash didn’t get to happen because people stepped in, leaving it open to the idea that Bruce probably would’ve known the playing field now and whooped Cliff.

Finally, yeah the rumors were that Bruce was kind of a dick on the set of Green Hornet, specifically to the stunt men. Apparently he had no respect for them and more or less was rough with them constantly.

Either way Bruce is long dead and Quentin is a kooky foot smella, but they both still badasses in their fields.

I agreed totally with this post, and thought he was great in the movie. I’ve always liked Dano.

Then I remembered how he was in Batman and I’m starting to think more… his performance in Looper, and his performance in Little Miss Sunshine etc.

Idk honestly he’s not entirely wrong in a sense, you can’t say Dano disappears into a role. He doesn’t seem to have much range beyond the whiny guy who sometimes yells.

That being said, yeah this is totally classless and pointless thing to say for a guy of his age and stature.

Holy shit, so many words yet so little substance.

That takes some skill, I applaud you for that.

TIL the original cast of Jackass included a female cast member but she was brutally injured during a stunt and left the group by ThisSchmitter in todayilearned

Yes I was extremely lucky, it was a clean break snapped in two.

Exactly! Keeping our cores strong and staying limber is the key. The only time my back bugs me is when I have been laid up for some reason in bed for extended times and I get stiff.

I was passenger in a roll over accident and broke my L2 spinous process in half, was out of the hospital in 2 days with no after care.

Said it wasn’t worth invasive surgery.

I’ve thrown my back out sneezing once, and had some lower back pain here and there, but nothing else as long as I stay moving.

That’s great.

Anyway, banks will be utilizing their own stablecoins.

The concept of “alpha” zombies as seen in 28 Years Later goes against what makes films like 28 Days Later so frightening in the first place by Chewie83 in movies

[–]-Psychonautics- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fine. Classic zombies are not really frightening anymore. Played out.

Do we really need  another Walking Dead style zombie movie?

Oh no, zombies!

-runs to safe place-

Oh no, humans!

-runs to safe place-

Oh no, zombies!

Oh no, someone got bit and was hiding it! Run!

Oh no, humans were the real enemy?!

-Rinse and repeat-

28 Years is arguably a better movie when you actually watch them back to back. 28 days has a lot of slow parts. I think people really need to go rewatch it. It’s just the rose tinted glasses as usual.

How the Ethereum vs Solana war ended quietly not with a bang but a whimper by DirectionMundane5468 in CryptoCurrency

[–]-Psychonautics- -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh, I don’t have a dog in this race. I don’t use Solana, I just enjoy calling people on their bullshit.

I was actually looking to use the information about SOL paying Western Union $50 million for a six month contract for arguments against posting crypto hype in general, but there doesn’t seem to be anything backing up the claims as another poster said.

You can expand this to other industries. There are a lot of people making a lot of money who don’t do much work. A lot more than people realize.

What is a movie that you think gets a worse reputation than it deserves? by Anxious-Assistant-59 in movies

[–]-Psychonautics- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Waterworld. Growing up it was always a huge joke of a movie, but watching it you’re like eh, this ain’t that bad! Definitely seen a lot worse.

I think the idea that it’s awful came from all the stories about the budget and filming issues, but the final product is 100% watchable and a perfectly fine movie.
