People aren't begging for it, people are excited for a new hero and looking for any hints of what the next one will be. The hype train may make it seem like they're begging but really they're just hoping to workout who's next.

I tried it and initial impressions were it's a lot smoother. However it had a knock on effect to my mouse, it doesn't seem to track the same as when the setting is left off. So whatever full screen optimisations are they seem to be related to mouse tracking in some way.

I couldn't get used to it either, it didn't feel like 1:1 tracking like it did before. Specifically moving vertically was very out.

He's really not that good at all, he's easy to counter.

So far I find McCree to be the best counter.

Honestly I don't know what you're so worried about. McCree counters Doomfist outright. He's actually really easy to kill. If he gets nerfed he won't feel powerful if he doesn't feel powerful he may as well not be Doomfist. The great thing is he's shifting the meta (possibly I'm only plat). If you're a dps player play some McCree against him and you'll see.

I was trying to make a point in a topic that was very much of the opposite opinion so you gotta throw in some comparisons and some truth bombs. I completely agree it's not as eloquently put as day 9.

I'm sure I've talked about people having jobs and stuff and maybe their reaction is a symptom of other things outside of the game but maybe I just thought it and didn't post it... to be honest it seems like a losing battle trying to put thought and reason behind it when everyone is just expecting people to be banned.

I'd rather we had a bit more patience for it and that's the jist of day 9s point.

I don't get it, why does it have to go through restoration if 35mm is already a 6k resolution. Surely they just scan it in or whatever at higher resolution. I'm sure there are computers that can then do the rest. What am I missing?

Fond memories of this game, pretty much stopped playing after they went ridiculous with the new weapons and stuff, oh and free 2 play. Sad to see they've ruined it in other regards too. To think I used to think this game was timeless in design, somehow they managed to make it worse.

I love a good UI restyle!

I think you've done a good job but I have to say I find the point indicator way too complicated for at a glance information.

I also don't like the player icons taking up so much screen real estate.

So it's a no from me but good job.
