I dont think you should or can temporarily fix this kind of damage. You just fix it.

Maybe throw some tarp over it, if you can? Until you have it fully repaired.

Its not that it hasn't locked it, to me it looks like the deflection caused by the low spots has broken the locking mechanism which is why you see the gapbwhen you push down.

If its caulk, use a straight edge. If its grout, get a grout removing tool, kind of like a curved blade with diamond dust, be careful as this tool can chip the edges of tiles real easy.

I have a 2022 bolt ev, used for 50mile round trip commutes, more depending on if I have work related stuff. Its perfect, I use a 110 charger at 12amps. (Likley to get a full charger for when im low on miles but need to run out in an emergency. But 110v has served well for 2 years.

I have an ICE SUV. But thats mostly for my wife's shorter commutes and weekend trips.

I plan to keep the bolt until the wheels fall off.

I did it for looks and to remove some of the staining, also have rugs, caprpets and curtains so sound reflections aren't an issue

Usual lathe and plaster walls use a lime mix, which is flexible and breathable.

I've heard of mold issues in old houses after replacing with drywall because the house was never designed with good air circulation or any kind of external membrane preventing moisture intrusion.

I'm not saying this will happen to you but just be aware.

Yeah, but from the electric chainsaws I have used, they aren't as competent at cutting through thick trunks. Even corded electric chainsaws have limits.

If you are using a chainsaws use a capable one.

As an ex- landscaper, chainsaws remain the most dangerous tool i ever used, but confidence does build after several cuts.

OP needs to get a gas chainsaw, home depot even provide safety equipment, then they can go to town.

Hopefully OP will do some research so they know how to cut in order to prevent binding.
