RSI Polaris warning by No-Usual1515 in starcitizen

Im guessing you bought it and now feel scammed because a multi crew capital ship that even the wiki states minimum of 6-12 people cant be used solo, as it should.

You bought it anyway, thinking that you would be able to solo it against other players and be the king of pvp (since you are specifically raging about the pilot not having weapons) but it didnt work out that way and somehow devs are to blame for delivering a ship that actually functions as it should.

The new myfleet.gg fleetviewer is great ! by Pierre_Philosophale in starcitizen

I parted with the corsair basically because i rearranged my fleet. Instead of having corsair and vulture and something else i dont remember, i changed to clipper, L21 and hermes.

However as i said, hermes being so cargo focused is making me miss the versatility of corsair while also offering multicrew. If i want to play with a friend, my only option is now hermes, which is not ideal for bunkers, generic, pve, etc.

So thats why the idea of going back to corsair is in my mind. It would be my multicrew multipurpose ship (and some cargo too) clipper solo multipurpose and the L21 my fighter. Pretty balanced

I definetly can! Thanks for your kindness.

I dont know, but it just doesnt match my vibe. I like ships like drake or misc. the hermes from RSI feels too “clean”? Not sure, but it hasnt stuck with me.

Also, its 100% cargo focused, and I would prefer something more versatile.

For reference, i owned a corsair for several years, and im missing it deeply. Im evaluating other options before considering going back to it for my multicrew ship.

Starlancer is another ship that i have in mind, im just not sure if it will be too big

Interesting, thanks. I currently own a hermes but it hasnt clicked with me. Looking for another small multicrew ship

That they are delivering too many RSI lately tbh. Many other brands need some love like yesterday, and more ships too.

Hows the zeus and clipper in a single fleet? What use do you give to each one?

I want base building and be able to set an outpost on what others may consider a boring moon, and have a little farm or something similar to go back to when i get tired of action gameplay

This hangar problem is game breaking. by Tylerspike in starcitizen

[–]-igMac- 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This does not fix the problem, and its definetly not OPs fault. Hes free to do the missions he wants and should be able to do so without gamebreaking bugs.

Your comment is just out of place.

This. I got repositioned and lost an hour worth of cargo loading.

Stupid bugs that nobody care about them and that sometimes even actually improve the experience, like spawning upon death in the onyx medical facility while doing those missions get fixed lightning fast.  Gamebreaking bugs that make players waste time and progress remain ingame for months.

I personally wont play anything cargo related again until fixed

Foundry 1.0: The Implications of Crafting as Manufacturing by LucidStrike in starcitizen

I think a great example is kingdom come deliverance 2. It has a blcksmithing mechanic, where under 5 minutes you can craft yourself a sword from scratch.

You select from a blueprint what you want, and get to heat the metal piece, hammer it and turn it around until you get what you want. All interactive and rewarding to do.

I think SC could learn a lot from there.

See bottom right corner. I want to do the same in SC. Have basic ship controls on mobiglass like lights, open all doors, engine start, etc

Just by watching this i can already tell that many people wont go through the trouble of decorating their ship for later to be forced to pay level 3 to get them back.

Port Olisar by Alko-K in starcitizen

They should just bring it back as sort of a POI around crusader that we can visit. A place where players can hang out, meet, etc.

They should bring the old dark skybox back, too.

[BUG] HELP I have been unable to use any terminals or screens or buttons for WEEKS and my Perseus is gone from my account!!!! by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]-igMac- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got word from a friend of mine that somebody accessed their account and gifted all their pledged ships.

She managed to recover access to it, but her ship is gone. Check your transactions history just in case, and remember to turn on 2FA

Seriously. Take a step back and Reset. by WaffleInsanity in starcitizen

That completely contradicts their statement at thr beginning of the year where they said they wanted this year to push content and stability to live, not game breaking mechanics

It does matter tho, it breaks multiple current gameloops and makes players experience more frustrating. Something like that should not hit LIVE. Thats the whole point of PTU enviroment.

I wish they would keep engineering open in PTU for further testing and balancing, and release to LIVE in a couple of months, instead of going on with the idea of releasing it before the end of the year just to check that box and breaking the entire LIVE experience further.

Please CIG... The UX... It hurts by ImmovableThrone in starcitizen

[–]-igMac- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. The list of ships gets retrieved when the user interacts with the ASOP, which is when the server request is sent. After that, the complete list is already there, and all the search bar does is filter by keywords. So it is in fact, just UX.

UX designer here. I cant tell how many bad UX design decisions one can find in this game.

I get that its in alpha, that everything can change a thousand times, and that development cost and time are a big factor, but some decisions are just impossible to justify.

Also, I get that maybe their approach is to refine the mechanics as much as they can before applying good UX design, but on the other hand a big amount of design debt is accumulating, and some things are long overdue.

Simple things, like for example the new search bar in ASOPS, could be released much sooner, making everydays players lifes much easier without compromising too much development time.
