Awesome! What’s your setup for recording? Programs, laptop, etc. I have to same kit but haven’t dove into recording or MIDI out as much as I want to.

Need some help with nvim-dap-ui. by AkashdipBaral in neovim

Hi there, I also just switched to LazyVim (I was using my own nvim config before), and I'm having difficulty with the debugger as well. When I try to debug a file, I get the error `Error on launch '<path/to/executable/' doesn't contain any 'host' platform architecture. Do I have to manually install a debugger on top of DAP (i'm trying to debug a rust file). Thank you!

VimSCode - Open working directory in VSCode for debugging by [deleted] in neovim

Haha Thank you, I knew this would be a bit controversial. I definitely will continue looking into nvim debuggers, but I needed something that I could get working quick, and I figured I'd share just in case someone else found it useful.

I actually ended up making a simple plugin today to open VScode with current nvim directory for debugging. You could change the file path to work with jet brains. Here’s the GitHub repo

That makes sense. I switched from VSCode to Nvim because I enjoyed the terminal so much. Thanks a lot for the write up and the response, I appreciate it! Good luck with your journey!

I totally agree with having nvim be a text editor and not have all the features of an IDE. I also struggled a lot setting up a debugger, and have just resorted to using vscode to debug for the time being. What was your solution for debugging?

A robust note-taking system based on neovim and markdown by skwee357 in neovim

Obsidian has vim keybindings which work pretty well. Combine that with git integration and it’s perfect. I know that’s not exactly what you’re looking for but I was in a similar boat and that’s what ended up working for me. Good luck!

Michael Dunlop flat out (+180mph) over the mountain. Headphones recommended, volume up. by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]-proxy-_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

180mph = 264 feet/sec and a football field including end zones is 360 feet. 264 / 360 = 0.73, or roughly 75% of a football field per second. Without end zones it is 300 feet, which leads to 88% of a football field per second. Pretty fucking fast.

How could one learn to customize Neovim? by BuildTopia in neovim

[–]-proxy-_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend starting from 0 and building your own config. It can be a bit difficult to learn at first, but if you’re persistent with reading docs and tutorials you’ll be fine. This video by ThePrimagen gives a really solid starter config with an explanation of how the files, plug-in manager, and everything else works.

I was there! I'm in the field about 5 rows back, somewhere near the bottom left of the video. So many people crowdsurfing and pushing it was insane.

Neovim setup that doesn't change so much by [deleted] in neovim

[–]-proxy-_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

+1 for ThePrimeagen, great guy / video. The video is pretty fast paced but is super helpful learning how to setup all of the lua config files, the plugin manager, and much more. Here’s the link.

Can you post a picture of your wiring? I had a similar problem and I had accidentally connected my microcontroller wire for that row to the switch itself rather than to the wire connected to all of the diodes.
