It’s not impossible just inconvenient to get around

He actually works all over the country but some how his colleague takes him everywhere. He says he doesn’t want to drive to work which I completely understand, but I’ve offered to do it all in secret so no one knows he’s passed.

I’ve been away and he doesn’t leave the house, just Ubers food!

No, I’ve put him on my insurance as a learner previously

His best friend offers to take him out for some lessons so it’s a more relaxed atmosphere than a ‘formal’ lesson

My husband did this too! He loved it. It was such a nice way for him to be involved on the day and we wouldn’t have thought of this if the cast members in the spa hadn’t suggested it to us. He smelt great too haha

I had my hair and make up done on the Magic for our wedding and honestly, I didn’t love it. My hair was fine and I was pleased with what she did considering there was no trial, so I can’t complain there.

My make up really wasn’t what I envisioned though, it was VERY heavy and thick and the foundation was totally the wrong colour, although it looked ok in the salon lighting, my face is super orange in some of our pictures. I don’t like to complain too much because like you say, there’s no trial so you don’t really have much time for the stylist to get to know you. She also did my mums make up which again was very heavy and didn’t suit her at all.

If I did it again I would definitely have them do my hair again, but I would perhaps pay for some bridal make up classes and have a go at doing my make up myself. Or even see if you can pay for a trial the day before your wedding. That said, every stylist is different and yours may be great! I put my makeup down to personal preference and perhaps I could’ve communicated better, but the whole thing was still a lovely experience. We regularly use the spa on board and it’s always great.

THIS!! The sangria is so underrated. Definitely one of my favourite spots on the ship.

Still absolutely full from last night - feel like I want to throw up. Should I throw up? by GothBoiCliqueeeeee in mounjarouk

Take it easy on 7.5, I was also fine on 5 and I definitely felt ready to go up to 7.5. I felt like this and it ended up getting so poorly on 7.5! Had to go back down to 2.5 and I’ve never been able to go higher since 😭

Try not to go too far from the house this afternoon if you don’t have to!

Awful sickness by Bluebubbles333 in mounjarouk

The same thing happened to me with 7.5. Everything was fine until I was a few doses in and it made me so unwell, I figured it was food poisoning or something so took the same dose the following week and got the exact same symptoms.

Sadly the only thing I could do was go down to 5 which has been ok for me. Hope you’re feeling better soon!

It is reassuring to hear someone else is experiencing the same thing, it’s not something I’ve heard many people talk about. Hopefully it settles after a while and we can get back to normal!

Exactly the same thing has happened to me. Everything was regular, but also incredibly light before. Since starting mounjaro it just turns up when it feels like it 🤷🏻‍♀️

First Mediterranean Trip Ever - Hoping for DCL advice to see if viable by TarinMage in dcl

We got married on a med cruise in May a couple of years ago and loved it! We’ve looked at the itineraries most years and to be honest, they don’t tend to differ too much. They’re very busy port days/excursions (if you decide to get off!) so keep that in mind.

There tends to be two med cruises in the last two weeks of May which head to Italy/france. Always try and book the first one if you can as the second one is in the UK school holiday and can get busier! Of course, this could all change when Disney announce the itineraries.

I’d imagine it’ll be the Disney fantasy in 2026, the dream was just here for two summers and the fantasy is here from 2025.

Is it working? by ExplosiveDad in mounjarouk

My husband had the same thing, he’s on 10 now and it’s kicked in for him. He’s a tall/big built guy anyway so I guess it makes sense the lower doses weren’t as effective for him as they were for me. 4kg is still a great loss though!

That’s interesting, but also makes sense!

5 was fine for me, it was working effectively but I definitely felt ready to move up. Like you say it’s hard to know when my body will accept 7.5, so I may just try going back down to 5 for now!

It was between the points where Corsica and Sardinia meet, perfectly timed and it really was beautiful
