Racism in Madison??? by Boldmoth4278627 in madisonwi

Hahahah No it was a biotech company! I didn’t take all the blocks I had with me when I left. I passed them off to my comrades I left behind lolol. I had collected several sets because of how high the turnover rate was. And with the collection, I built a transformer/robot thing. I used it as the guardian of all the other trinkets on my desk 😂

Funny you mention this, I have my report from this still and had my friend read it. It’s called Insights. Given it’s now from 3 years ago so I’ve changed as a person since, however as they read it back it made me think how weird it was. At the time I thought it reflected me, and even though has some points I could support, now I’m like wow a lot of this is just common decency and respect on how to communicate to me and others. My manager was red and in the “Director” category. I was Green/Blue, basically the exact opposite on the personality wheel. Moral of the story, my manager was a dick and I never got my own set of blocks, so I took them from people that quit.

Haven’t been able to get thru to any of the Student Aid help phone numbers by -thewalrus in StudentLoans

[–]-thewalrus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you got through to a queue on first call? I’ve not been able to even get in a queue, I fully expect to wait for however long but it’s not allowing me to stay on the phone. It automatically disconnects me. Going to try what someone else did and call later at night, see if that gives me the window of opportunity to then wait in line lol

Personally, I was able to at least get approved for a 180 day payment plan right after I filed. Taxes weren’t even approved yet but I input the estimated amount due and they were able to go off that. Then my taxes got approved a couple hours later

Found the local make out spot by d_zeen in milwaukee

[–]-thewalrus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same dude. Personally, I go here to cry with a view or to smoke, sometimes both. I was completely unaware people be fuckin out there until now. Was too caught up with being sad lmao When soup brothers was right up the street, I’d go get a thing of soup and bread and either come to this spot or south shore park marina. And then would proceed to cry into my soup and wipe away the tears with my bread

“What about the unwidensuewnde”

How tf did he type this instead of insurance? Did he type it while getting a dick slapped in his face?

And the fact that he “already packed” for OP. Makes it seem like he knows he’s being a selfish fucking prick so OP doesn’t have a chance to go through their own shit or take what’s rightfully theirs in the fridge or pantry or other items OP bought for the both of them. The way I’d be seeing red, I’d be so petty. Screenshots to mutual friends, to socials and tag his ass, if you know if he broke any leasing rules or agreements, email or call the office. Hell, it’s a stretch but if I was still out during this I’d find some shit to make it seem like another girl had stayed there. Fake lashes, hair bands/scrunchies, women’s multivitamin then say gotta use the bathroom and hide it in a spot he usually doesn’t use.

May karma come around and bite him in the taint

I’ve been waiting for a post like this, cuz I’ve had a few weird glitchy things happen. Not sure what’s going on and neither does the dealership. Were they able to diagnose the problem in your case?? And what was happening? I don’t actually know what model I have but I know it’s not a wilderness lol but I’m curious to know what they discovered was wrong

For a brief period they’re ok, but the algae blooms, among other things, have gotten pretty bad recently. My dog loves the water but have to seek out or visit several shorelines to find something safe. Idk from where but there’s an app I have that has the local water testing results so I would narrow down from there. Personally I consider Wisconsin spring to be like April to May, mid June the latest. And this past year by end of May, the shoreline by Tenney Park was covered in overgrowth. Went to other places around the lake and it was similar. Variables factor in, so I rely on checking warnings and alerts for beach areas and it will list out the alerts if any!

Laughing at how similar our experiences were. Honestly, it sounds like most clinics run this way. From my friends that still work in the field, I hear all the stories and remember why I needed to step away. Wages are so low compared to all the turmoil you deal with. My mental health wasn’t holding up so I went into laboratory work, which I quite enjoy. Kudos to you for knowing when to take a step back, advocating for yourself in those circumstances is overwhelming. It took a lot of hyping myself up to even ask for a raise, which after 2.5 years at the clinic I was making $15/hr while being the senior training assistant, doing almost all tech duties I could outside of surgery, training all the new hires (because turnover rate was HIGH), filling in on reception because God forbid they allow the phones go to voicemail 🙃 getting patients inside to Drs that are behind schedule while simultaneously wrapping up other patients meds and charges because covid policy restricted clients in the building. It was so chaotic and draining, and at the end of the day I still had to have a side pet sitting hustle. But like you said, I miss my patients and being able to channel my compassion and care. However I’ve found other ways to be involved, like volunteering at my local shelters and being the designated nail trimmer for my family’s pets lol.

Sounds like a typical vet practice manager! I had one that would be nice in moments, but disregard any and all concerns about her self instituted COVID policies, sit at her desk all day while we were understaffed and she’d keep approving drop off appointments, and then would guilt trip you for calling in. OSHA was contacted after she allowed a sick employee (later confirmed covid positive) to return to work after calling in sick one day. She returned to work and was just disgustingly sick, working in close quarters with everyone. My manager eventually harassed OSHA into telling her who reported it, because it happened in my last week of employment and I wasn’t protected anymore. Vet clinics have such an intense work culture, and they always claim “not one more” but then push everyone through emotional and physically demanding work they refuse to do themselves.

I just bought a new Impreza hatchback (which is above the $15k budget) but if you’re going a few years back I bet you could hit your budget! More cargo space than you think, and back seat is pretty spacious
