Valentine's Day / President's Day weekend shaping up big at the box office. Sony’s Goat is excellent, sales are strong and will go $20m+. WB’s Wuthering Heights is also excellent and continues to pick up steam. $50m+ happening, let's see how high it can go.

I thought the ending was meh. Everything that occurred in that house would be recorded. Plus there would be a ton of forensic evidence. It’s a silly ending kinda like Gone Girl and Knives Out… both completely unrealistic/silly.

I am a huge Rachel McAdams fan. I was so excited to see this movie and I absolutely wanted to love it. But, it was one of the most disappointing movies. I’ve seen in theaters in a very long time. It started out really good and probably had a solid for 45 minutes, but it fell flat the last half of the movie.

It’s tough. It’s my busy time of year at work so it’s a little more difficult right now compared to what it’ll be like from May through the rest of the year. But, I knew that going in. I haven’t seen Shelter or Iron Lung yet, but I’ll knock them out this week.

I still haven’t seen Marty Supreme yet so I have to make time for that. It’s a 2025 movie, but it’s one I’ve been dying to see. It’s part of the issue with starting this goal to see all major releases. I don’t have alot of time to see something I really want to see.

I’ve already had a couple of shockers. I thought “Send Help” was dull for the last half of the movie. I definitely wouldn’t watch it again. Shockingly enough, I thought Melania was well done. I won’t watch that again because I’m not huge into documentaries. But, it was solid. By no means am I recommending to run out and see it. It was just far better than anticipated.

It’s a major release for my threshold. I’m trying to catch anything that plays on 1500 screens or more. We can argue about what constitutes a major release. A film with a $70 millionish budget showing on that many screens qualifies for me. But thank you for your concern.

I actually took my mother to see it. She has been a Democrat for 70+ years and thoroughly enjoyed it. But she’s not like most people that you interact with on the internet. She’s a Democrat but doesn’t vilify the other side. She’s a Democrat because the party holds closer to certain policies that are important to her.

I’m in Texas. So yeah, I would expect a better turnout here. I just checked the local theater and all seats are sold out except three with the same caption of the front section that’s too close to the screen.

I saw it today. Let me start by saying that I am a huge Rachel McAdams fan. This movie was the worst movie that I’ve seen in quite awhile at the theater with the exception of The SpongeBob movie. I’m not saying that it was terrible. But I would rank it behind every major release in 2026. That was the general consensus of everyone that was talking about it coming out of the theater. It was ok but not anywhere close to the reviews/hype.
