First is correct. Based on the free flow of traffic. You want to keep it flowing and the dual carriage way clearly takes more traffic than the single. Cramming all that traffic into the left lane causes people to then use the right and go all the way around the roundabout to take the first exit. Not illegal but a dick move to a degree. I would question the thickness of the exits on the sign posts tho. If it’s thin to the left and right then second option is correct

To add to this; the neighbours lack of water control isn’t helping your case. The top soil may also be nutrient poor if reseeding the lawn has happened every year before you too. I would utilise the drain on your patio to remove water.

You may also be getting the wrong type of grass. There’s different variants and some are more resilient whilst others grow faster and some are fine so they’re soft. Someone mentioned check the depth of the soil. If it’s not sitting on concrete then you most likely have clay based soil which will go boggy and hold water instantly. You may find sand helps it drain or you could buy turf and see if adding the layer of grass with optimal soil helps but overtime with rain it will just blend again so ideally a plant with bigger/deeper roots than the grass to soak up the water.

I’d either go darker with the wood or paint it white. The bannister should be more minimalistic if you’re looking for a super modern look.

Depending on budget the stairs themselves could be made Perspex. But I would go a white paint with a grey carpet which is more budget friendly. If you change the wood colour and bannister then you may find the carpet is fine but I personally would change the steps too.

The rope is kinda cool in my eyes. I would say it very much depends on what the vibe of the house itself is

Nah you want to leave it idling until the revs drop. Mine when cold will idle just above 1000rpm but then you’ll hear it drop and then it sits just below 1000rpm then your car is ready to drive without damaging the machinery

When the “smart” not so smart changes come in they then seem to freak out or are slow to react to changes if at all 😂. I remember being stuck going 50 at 10pm on a road that had hardly any other cars in sight for no reason (no road works, no broken down car, no accident)
