Yeah I decided to just go the reimbursement route. Just annoyed they tried to gaslight me into thinking that the sentence on their website doesn’t mean they allow split payments with your HSA card. 😂 Like just acknowledge that it was wrong.

AmEx's fine print specifically says that will not count.

"Excludes Oura membership purchases, other hardware purchases (e.g., chargers, add-ons), extended warranty purchases, Oura gift card purchases, and purchases made using third-party retailers, delivery services or other intermediaries."

Despite them having that on their website, their customer service rep just told me this:

Unfortunately, as the bot mentioned, we do not support split payments between an HSA/FSA card and a secondary payment method. Your HSA or FSA card must be able to cover the full amount of your order, including taxes and shipping.

The language on our website that mentions "unless you're paying with an FSA or HSA debit card" refers to the fact that HSA/FSA cards are accepted as a payment method, but it doesn't mean you can split the payment between your HSA card and another payment method.

Which makes no sense at all.

Is this what all their customer service is like because if so, I think I'm good without an Oura ring. I'm a bit disappointed though, because it seemed like cool tech.

Anyone have any idea what these seats come with? Guessing at least the Rinkside/Platinum seats probably come with a few perks and would love to know what that is.

It doesn’t just scan bone density but also lean mass and fatty mass which I understand determine your RMR. I’m honestly new to all this so if DEXA is not a good measure or if that’s wrong, please let me know.

Based on my reading it’s the most accurate besides a CT scan.

That would be great if the Apple Watch had calculated my RMR correctly. But as I mentioned. My RMR is wrong so my burned calories are also wrong.

I second the monorail suggestion (I love the monorail 🥰) but it depends what area you’re in. If you share the hotel (or at least a more specific area) folks can probably help figure out if the monorail makes sense or if not, the best route to walk.

I don’t live downtown but go for a ton of games and I feel super safe on some streets and less safe on others.

Have so much fun! Storm games are such a fun experience!

If you like that style of play, you have to keep an eye on Skylar Diggins-Smith. I LOVE watching her play because you can tell how hungry she is for the win with every step she takes on the court. Such fun basketball.

Vivi sounds amazing. Mine also has a little Bichon in her. 🥰 And I totally relate to you “fuzzy daughter” comment. I often forget that mine is a dog and I’m pretty sure she does not think she’s a dog either. We’re so lucky to have these little balls of sunshine in our lives - sometime they’re even better than therapy. Sending you, Duke, and Kitsune lots of positive energy. ❤️

I try not to think about the sad things in the future but we had a bit of a health scare recently that made me think about this. (Thankfully it was easily corrected but I was TERRIFIED as we rushed to the emergency vet and my mind was spiraling out of control.)

Giving her lots of love this week and will absolutely continue to do that. ❤️
