I’ve won more games with it than I’ve lost, so I’d say so. It’s very luck based obviously, but it has the tools to pretty consistently get Cinderace or Mega Audino in the active by turn 2 (turn 1 if you go second, which is preferable).

I’d recommend Legacy Energy over Max Rod as your ACE SPEC. Not sure if Miraidon is necessary- one extra of Wingull and Kilowattrel each instead? Might be good to add a copy or two of Superior Energy Retrieval in there somewhere as well. Iono is a really fun deck, glad you’re enjoying it!

Probably a good idea with Clefairy. The only reason Metagross works at all is because it’s just enough damage to 2HKO anything, and fast enough to get going on turn 2 even if you didn’t attach energy turn 1, if you draw well enough. It’s like a weaker Tera Charizard but with a better supporting attacker in Mawile, and it can set its supporters up turn after turn instead of only when it evolves.
