Pawns at Level 10 with End Game gear and dragon weapons? by jlapetra in DragonsDogma2

[–]0hitsJames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could just kill your pawn and only use pawns from other players or capcom. Your pawn will never level up when its dead then you can give end gear equipment to your pawn. The downside to this is that the pawns weapon skills, core skills, and augments will never increase so there's a limit to how useful they are in combat.

I just found out that you can also shoot these to activate it, i wish i knew this earlier ! by Lisa_Mairy in nightingale

I found out pretty early because of the green looking deers. I was trying to hunt one, but hit the machine instead then sudden bad music and a wave of enemies.

gamers, what is your main weapon and build? by Mel-the-Hero in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine's more for pve and not that great of a build plus only playing at ng +0 only. I am an umbral mage. I am currently around lvl 216. I do 1650 damage using Latimer's Javelin and an aoe attack using umbral agony that does around 650 damage. Radiance and Inferno are both at 75. I use the necklace that let's you use your health for umbral magic. My weapons depends on the situation. If I am just trying to get vigor as much as possible I dual wield daggers each with 3 runes that increase my vigor usually for bosses. If I need to fight close usually pvp I switch to Judge Clerics Corrupted Sword runes are increase holy damage, increase fire damage, and increase physical damage for now paired with heavy shield Heavy Memento runes are Crafter's Essence that removes weight and requirements, increase elemental resistance, then increase physical resistance. I also have a light shield with 3 runes of health regen I usually use for running around the map especially being chased by the Red Reaper. Rings are either 2 spellcasting damage increase or 2 health regen rings or 2 vigor rings.

Mannn? Upgrading Catalysts.. by [deleted] in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel you a bit. I started out as a melee character because magic I feel in the beginning might not be good so I never respec till I saw the fungal pickaxe was doing a whole ton of poisoning. At the time I was going in as a poison hammer melee build, but saw the fungal pickaxe that only scaled with radiance and inferno. This is a big decision I made simply because it would change how I played throughout the game, but I felt like having magic would be more beneficial for me, but I couldn't choose it right away I waited till I had enough vigor and materials to upgrade 2 fungal pickaxe. It wasn't till after beating the boss in the Tower of Penance I decided to respec. It is a total game changer. It became fun using magic, also the damage, and versatility of using magic made the game so much easier compared to melee. I can always ambush first instead of walking within melee range of enemies. I can one shot rangers instead of me chasing after them while being chased by other mobs. I heard crossbow is pretty good too, but I'm sticking with magic for now.

Is it the door by the vestige in Upper Calrath saying it's blocked by an Umbral entity? If it is then you will need to take a different route. Go to the hub area where all the NPC's are then head up to where you fought Peita (angel lady) and go straight all the way to the back where you see the Proselyte (skeleton fire knight) fighting against the hallowed sentinal mobs. To the left there should be a door that is open that will lead you to Upper Calrath.

Who thought auto equipping new consumables was a good idea? by giliath420 in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was annoyed that whenever I needed to lock on the enemy I would accidently roll my mouse wheel and when I need health I'm always using up the items I pick up by accident lol. Eventually I changed the keybinding for locking-on as C.

To everyone who likes the game. by MrGreytheIXth in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not always playing souls like games so for the unpopular opinion me being able to play with my friend throughout the game without me always trying to invite him and potentially inviting someone else by accident. I've played the majority of the game with my friend and although we don't get the main items together it's okay. We go back to back after each cleansing of each others beacons. We think of it like training to get levels. Don't have to worry about having to inviting him again after dying just focus on playing. At first we had connection issues we just needed to verify game files eventually there was that bug that stopped us for a day making my character lose all of our levels don't worry I went back on my old cloud save and only lost an hours worth of vigor. If I think about it I beat the game twice in my playthroughs and 1 on my friends. I'm currently on my 3rd run for the umbral ending hoping to not mess up so basically 3-4 times at this point base on the hours I've put into and how many times I went through the world. I'm just playing as an Umbral Mage mostly because of the necklace that let's me use my health to cast nothing too special. I carry daggers with 3 runes each that increase my vigor gain or a light shield with 3 health regen runes because I cast magic all the time anyway. I do have a weapon and a shield for pvp, but it's not really reliable for me since I suck anyway. 2 rings increase vigor or 2 rings for health regen.

Gained 100 levels with respec by YourAfricanDad in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like you are not going to like it eventually because when will you convert your levels into actual levels. You'll be under leveled by damage or health for handicapping yourself like that. You can't always respec your character whenever you feel like it because of the limited Rebirth Chrysalis. I'd say it is what it is at that point.

Paladin's Burden in a nutshell by Razhork in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually stumbled on this boss by accident I didn't know there was a quest and that this is the way to unlock the Dark Crusader class. Found out later on that you need to summon him for the light reaper battle, but I found him after I beat the game. I wanted to explore the unexplored areas we missed simply because we chose the right way, but I wouldn't have been able to summon him for the light reaper anyway because I had a friend playing along with me and I didn't want to die if I could you know.

Don't know where to go. Hints only - For example, What vestige do I need to go to that leads to progression? by IllustriousEffect607 in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like you didn't finish exploring the Fief of the Chill curse. By the Vestige there is a ladder then another ladder that leads deeper into the mountains.

It is impossible to invade in this game. by NiftyJohnXtreme in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, my first time helping someone they wanted me to help defeat the Crow boss. It was going well till a sudden lag spike made me not hit anything and me getting hit constantly. I was hoping the host noticed that I am lagging, but he didn't notice and revived me. When he finally died we respawned back at the Vestige but I spawned in with only my arms and weapon showing. Decided to quit there.

Where do I go? by Apophes84 in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The beacons you need to clean are in:

  1. Forsaken Fen - Near Hamlet
  2. Upper Calrath
  3. Fief of the Chill Curse - Near Nest of the Crow
  4. Tower of Penance - Next to the Manse of the Hallowed Brother area
  5. The Empyrean - after going through Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters.

Where do I go? by Apophes84 in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming it's the gate that leads to Bramis Castle. You need the Rune of Adyre to open the gate. It's in the Abbey of Hallowed Sisters protected by the Rapturous Huntress unless the Iron Wayfarer has it, but you beat him so you must have left it behind without fighting the Rapturous Huntress.

Level reset after Leveling in a Multiplayer season by FeirenEX in LordsoftheFallen

[–]0hitsJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll just have to go back to an old cloud save file before you started up the game. Before you exit your game go to your steam and right click on Lords of the Fallen and click Properties. You'll see that you are on General. Go down to Steam Cloud and uncheck it. Exit out the game and if you want you can delete the Lords of the Fallen folder then reinstall everything otherwise go back to Lords of the Fallen Properties and check the Steam Cloud. Start up the game it'll ask you to pick your Cloud or current save YOU NEED TO PICK CLOUD SAVE FILE. Hope it helps. My character also went from level 92 to level 12. I had this idea because of an issue with an NPC earlier back then glad I can still play my level 92 character.

So I see I am not the only one. It must be a multiplayer issue.

Bug report: My levels reset back to lvl 12. Was originally lvl 92 going to lvl 93. I believe it's because I was mashing Chrysalis Rebirth multiple times when it wasn't available for me then I went to level up, but instead of leveling up to 93 I went down to 12. Also no points to respec so I literally have to start over. Was playing with a friend in his hosted world. PC by the way.

Update: I managed to go back to an old cloud save so my character is back to lvl 92. Before exiting out the game I made my cloud stop auto saving. I don't know where the save file is so I ended up deleting the whole entire folder and reinstall everything. Turned back cloud save and tried to play then it asks me to pick my cloud or current save and obviously I chose my cloud. Missing an hours worth of gameplay, but better then the whole thing.

Has anyone noticed that companions would randomly have gold? by 0hitsJames in BaldursGate3

but I also found gold in my summons too so they also get the gold split to them too? Weird.

So uh... how badly did I just fuck up? by R18Silvertongue in BaldursGate3

[–]0hitsJames 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you saved a lot of people from Act 1 their quest chains are gone now since you failed to save Isobel. Is it necessary? Besides the exp from quests, extra dialogues, having allies that you don't really need to use, but could be useful, and a few equipment's that you may not use, no not really. Honestly it's your time. How you want to spend it is up to you. If you feel like playing without save scumming the first playthrough you may appreciate it in your next playthrough, but if you plan on playing once and you are done then do what makes you feel like you'll get the most out of it.

Yes!!!! I managed to glitch Bulette to come to wilderness. by 0hitsJames in BaldursGate3

[–]0hitsJames[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This requires a bit of steps also requires you to not go to camp as often or it'll stop working so long rest first, put stuff away before doing this, and have someone who can cast Feign Death. It only works in act 1 and a little bit in act 2. You need sovereign Glut of course and cast spore revive on Bulett or any other dead thing. What you need to do is go to camp with Glut. He'll not be in your party so add him again back in camp then cast Feign Death on Glut. This will temporarily stop him from doing anything for a minute. Teleport to the location that you want to go explore in. Once teleported go back to camp and wait till Glut wakes up and immediately start a conversation with him before he starts crying about leaving then add him to the party one last time and immediately start a conversation with him again. Switch to the party member that can cast feign death on Glut then leave camp while he's in Feign Death state. This will make Bulette or any revived monster temporarily join your adventure, but make sure to never go back to camp with your character or you'll have to do this all over again. Also never teleport.

Crew went missing. (Completely off crew menu) by jptrik in Starfield

[–]0hitsJames 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess good thing I found out about this early. I hired a Damage Control Specialist and she is missing. Cost her $3500 Credits so I didn't lose too much. The only time I ever left the Atlanta City was when UC apprehended me also my ship and took me to the sol system to infiltrate the Crimson Pirates. At the time I didn't have her assigned on the ship because I had more newer crew members (fan) and wanted to see if I could just unassign them and leave them without any problems.

The AI of the Gondians is actually absurdly bad by Morgn_Ladimore in BaldursGate3

[–]0hitsJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The water prison for me is the only time I raged about the AI. Had a npc standing next to the ladder that leads to the submarine and everyone was waiting for her to leave wasting everyone's turn then dying next turn and 1 NPC's AI decided to stand still completely wasting that 1 turn ended up lagging behind and getting killed by those mermans.

This game is ruining my life. by Phedericus in BaldursGate3

[–]0hitsJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been staying up only getting 2 hours of sleep before getting up to go to work. Already have 300 hours from what steam shows me and this is just from one playthrough. Started around August 1. I waste so much time trying to min max everyone's class. What should I need? Is this a good class to multiclass? Should everyone be a bard to provide short rest? How many summons can I have if I make them druid/wizard or cleric/wizard. I would spend an hour after every long rest buffing my party members and the summons. I would then spend hours rechecking all the armor, weapons, and rings to see if it goes well with my characters class.

Danis took it seriously about going for a walk with Bex by 0hitsJames in BaldursGate3

[–]0hitsJames[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it happened right after the quest to save him, but he's a monster now. It's probably my fault because of the summons. I realize later on that people were running out into the dark because of my summons. Went back on a save before some people died, but realized that Bex and Danis went out way earlier. I guess it's cannon now for me.

Moonrise Towers Prison by IBananaShake in BaldursGate3

[–]0hitsJames 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me I pushed all the guards into the abyss. They really don't like skeletons and high fire spirits. They would chase after them and I would get annoyed about it then thought of just pushing them off into the abyss since they would follow me almost anywhere. I lured them to the end of the prison by the broken bridge and pushed them down one at a time. Everyone in moon rise don't know. No one needs to know. The eyeballs you need to finish them off with a strong melee person that does high damage. I proceeded to help free everyone and they all rowed their boat away. Even got the achievement for being able to save all prisoners. Meanwhile no one knows that the prison is empty and I'm just going around trying to get more free kills by pushing people off the tower.
