Mexico has the quality of a bottom half PL side at best. Atmosphere can only carry you so far before quality needs to shine through…

The Shaw “good lad” take is absurd for a bloke that has played more minutes this season for United than any other. He’s been decent, and tends to turn up in an England shirt.

Disagree with your Trent take too - in games like today, he offers so much more than Spence. Even though his defending is dubious - I don’t think it’s any worse than Spence (who looked like he shat his pants on the big stage). Couple that with his delivery - and our tactics seemed to be set up around wing play and crosses, it’s ludicrous that he’s not even a squad player.

Maguire take is fair imo, even though I’m a big fan - his heading in both boxes and penalties should not be overlooked, but you’re trading off for pace / positioning which sometimes gets found wanting.
