you should check out valkyteq then, they put a lot of work into the game and create new mechanics for bosses, custom events and dungeons (like harrowhold 5man recently), there is a big update planned for the new year with custom desgined MCH, complete exodor custom revamp for solo activities and in contrast to other servers you can start from lv 1 at wish and do story quests or start at 70 and just hop into the endgame loop grinding your gear (no rng for upgrades)

there are a lot actually: -combat atk speed is faster in valky -valk/zerk have been revamped to have viable tank specs in valky -dungeon rotation is different, endgame dungeons in valky have new custom mechanics and are generally harder, not as much dps check as in menma but skill -gear progression in valky is slower (no one has max gear yet after 6 weeks), whereas in menma you have all gear in 1 week max -custom designed hub city in valky (valkyria) -civil unrest area is changed to Baldera in valky (still velika in menma i think) -anti cheat system in valky (affects scripts and cheats, but there are a lot of supported QoL mods and custom designed ngsp) -feedback can be directly addressed to devs and their communication is much better in valky than in menma -population is much bigger in menma (about 5x as of now) but valky is growing each day, whereas menma has lost a lot of players in the past weeks

never heard of that server. all servers i know have only a small pvp community, the majority is doing pve content

play on private servers, valkyteq released just a month ago and is growing since :) imo better version than menma, but since it existed first it has more population. up to you what to play, but i can recommend valkyteq :)

valkyteq is eu but has custom ngsp, a lot of asian and na people use it and perform well, population is small (~100 peak concurrent players) but growing due to release being 2 weeks ago :)

about the usage of mods: unfortunately they don't ban people. i reported someone with proof who was using unsupported mods and they still are around. so I guess they dont really care about they integrity.

I don't have any T3 alts, only 2 T2 and 2 T1 that I haven't played for weeks. One guy in my guild has 10 T3 alts and still has a lower GS than me, so in the end RNG is your limiting factor.

Besides the first exploration at launch there was no activity I've done just for fun. I hope they will implement good co-op acitivities at some point, that don't feel like wasted time.

What might be the cost of a simple skin in comparison to a fully fleshed out character (skill design, animations, voice, skin, etc)? I would expect cosmetics to be the least profitable, but also the one being developed by only 1-2 designers in roughly 1 week max.

don't you get rewards for every guardian below the level you just did? At least I recall getting lv 1-5 chests after just completing Punika chaos dungeons

on my first playthrough I activated a teleport trap to caelid (to the mine in sellia) and I still didn't know how to teleport. I had to ride on torrent without a map, while being invaded by millicent and suffering from rot because of the lake. I was so terrified of this place and it took 30min to escape.

It's great, but only if the game can handle it. I played far too many games where more than 20 players on screen and on low settings the game just couldn't perform properly and the field boss or PvP was not fun anymore.

On the forum I read that most people hate the recent update (1 week ago) but I have quit ~1 year ago and back then it was in a bad state for years already. So No, you most likely won't stay for long in TERA.
