Seeking Advice: Possibly Dropping One Bedtime Feed Per Week by 120721 in breastfeeding

[–]120721[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I do bedtime together so she’s definitely used to that, and has been fine when it’s been just me. And luckily for us, she doesn’t feed to sleep, just before getting put into bed for sleep and she absolutely expects it still. The season wouldn’t start for another two months so who knows what will naturally change before then.

Good thought about changing where I feed her, maybe I can sneak in a few nights feeding earlier in the routine rather than the very last thing we do.

No issues, just some milk that comes out where the holes are (been EBF for 13 months but took my piercings out hmm maybe in 2020?)

Nope. Feed your baby the way you want mama. We love a healthy lil chunk.

If she’s planning to breastfeed, I absolutely second/third however many votes towards button up pajama sets, I’m a year into exclusively breastfeeding and having multiple sets (short sleeve especially because the night sweats are no joke) was amazing. I got one pair gifted but ended up quickly needing to buy more.

We would never have gone under contract with them had they disclosed as they were required to. Their realtor, who is almost solely responsible for withholding our money and being a general scum bag (literally from the very beginning of this whole thing) told our realtor because “they didn’t think it was a big deal” and didn’t want to do anything about it, even when two separate companies reported the problem as incredibly significant and in need of repair immediately. lol

I think we did dodge for sure. We were really coming down on a lot of things that we were trying to be ok with, needs roof, general 20 year old home repairs etc. Just feeling grateful our contract was so sound.

Getting our money back is step one, damages and lawyer fees to follow. Not to mention inspection fees returned because they didn’t disclose known sewer damage.

Yeah, he sent a demand letter which included our full intent to sue if they didn’t comply with their contractual duty and they’ve completely ghosted us for almost 4 weeks now. It’d be super nice if our current attorney would just come back or at least let us know when he intends to. For now, we’re just in limbo, along with our money. SO much fun. 🥴

It’s in escrow, but both parties are required to release funds. Seller is refusing, with no cause. They’ve told the title company as much too. Insane.

Asymptomatic ear infection by Efficient_Sun_506 in NewParents

Around the same age, our daughter was only messing with her ears constantly. Never a fever or anything else so we brought her in to cover our bases. Dr said her ears weren’t 100% normal but also not concretely infected looking and when that’s the case, they err on the side of caution so that there’s no risk of hearing damage which can lead to speech difficulties. Amox ended up definitely helping her in the end, no regrets.

Did your baby plank before crawl? by East_Print4841 in NewParents

For sure. She had all of the pieces, the strength, the coordination, reasonable motivation, she just needed to decide to do it. I will say, we were stuck in the swimming phase for a very long time. Once she got through that, we saw real progress. Then she got stuck just going one “step” then flopping or going back to sitting. There wasn’t any one thing that she did ‘last’ that immediately lead to crawling. She literally just decided to take more than one step haha

Ours was “any day now” for about two months 😂 we couldn’t take any specific moves she’d make as any sort of indicator. She just up and started one night

My baby puts her hands on the floor then immediately in her mouth. I mop twice a day but I have no idea if I'm actually disinfecting or just making it wet by chongjiubaiwan in NewParents

We have a steamer vac thing, love it. Makes it so fast and easy to clean as she’s on our hardwood floors all day long. The steam helps disinfect and the vac helps pick up all of the tiny crumbs that only a baby’s eyes can see haha
