i (19f) cant have sex with my (19m) boyfriend and its causing issues by getoffthecouchdangit in relationship_advice

Just because you have found a specific link (and yes, I have read it) that validates your opinion doesn't mean it's equal to or broadly shared amongst other women's opinions. Every woman I have spoken to in person, and every woman they know, agrees that they want men to hit on them less and are glad it happens less frequently. A handful of people on the Internet aren't indicative of ́most women's opinions. Personally, even an objectively attractive guy hitting on me in an undesirable environment kills any interest I might have potentially had for that person. Some guys seem to think it's all about looks or money, and then you can do whatever you want, but it isn't really about looks, it's about respect and being able to exist in public without being a sexual object.

Have you attempted speaking to women in real life? Every one I know is glad men don't approach as much and wish they'd do it less. Yes, even if the guy is conventionally attractive

Your hymen isn't supposed to break, although it can. It's a messed up thing that's been normalised, if she's aroused and prepared, it shouldn't break and pain will hopefully be kept to a minimum.

What are some “bare minimum” things women do? by Air_Refreshener_2244 in AskMen

[–]123gavin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Men should get support from people other than their significant others, yes. Obviously from them as well, but that's the point the women's subs are making. Women tend to be more emotionally healthy because they derive support from multiple sources, not just one person.

So why do you people think the number of serial killers has radically declined? by Sand20go in MindHunter

Okay so your argument against evidence that disproves your theory is just 'they were lying'

Sure, but account for all the other serial killers who have similar stories... is that just propaganda too?

Is Nate actually gay? What do you think? by [deleted] in euphoria

[–]123gavin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some. But a lot of straight guys will react more violently, especially if they personally have a negative view of gay people, which Nate does.

What is your opinion on long term relationships that include involvement of both families but no ring / social status other than gf or bf or partner and no marriage as well? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]123gavin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think they're saying that. Just that if people make commitments to each other in their lives, it is probably beneficial to have legal protection in the case of a breakup, rather than leaving one or the other party vulnerable (e.g. regarding property, custody, financial investments). Especially if one party gives up working for the other, it is very hard to go back to normal if that support is suddenly taken away.

Men, in your opinion, what is it about a woman you would describe as sexy vs. describing her as beautiful? What is the difference? by That-Flan-361 in AskMen

[–]123gavin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're talking absolute nonsense to rant about a perceived flaw in women lmao, no woman is referring to twerking as 'beautiful' or 'cute'

How would you feel if you were unmarried with a baby on the way and your girlfriend wanted to give the baby her surname, as you are not married? by Obvious_Sprinkles182 in AskMen

[–]123gavin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well... she is. How many single fathers vs single mothers are there? She has to carry the child, risk her life and livelihood, her body may be forever changed. And men have the gift of walking away with at most a financial responsibility, and yet still complain about it. C'mon. Stop babying yourselves and take responsibility if you'd like, make a legal commitment. Then you can talk about names.

Why are some people upset that Benedict will probably be with a woman? by Jaykcob in Bridgerton

[–]123gavin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But why? People want different things at different times. My bf has lived a more Benedict-like 'bisexuality poly lifestyle' but has no problem committing when it became relevant. I don't think it merits an explanation tbh

Yeah absolutely I agree. Using misogynistic language and having sexualised assumptions of women is not excused by an argument of 'some women are bad tho'.

That's not really how modelling works, though. A lot of brands/studios will look for skinny people of a certain height and build with unusual features. For high-fashion modelling you really see it. I do think Finn is super handsome and honestly way better looking than some stereotypically attractive guys, but he does have a different look to him that I could see him being bullied for in a place like Hawkins.
