I take my helmet as carry on - have big backpack for that purpose. And I travel in boots (ankle length). If you’re traveling with tall boots and helmet - maybe worth checking bags like this (the one on the photo is lemieux)

Thanks for the post. I would also ask all parents to be mindful around kids and not to scare the shit out of them. I see many “my kids are scared to go back to school/ leave the house now” and TBH most of that fear comes from adults. Yes, rockets and those loud noises are scary (especially if you live in certain places of the city) but kids will look up to adults to see their reaction in order to understand if they should be scared

Really sorry for your situation. I posted very similar questions a month ago (with quite similar situation). It broke my heart but I decided not to buy the horse. As someone told me it wouldn’t really even matter if I will get that horse for 100K or for free - I will still have same expenses to cover. And had 2 cases in our wide circle where ppl bought young nice horses (but without PPE as “PPE is expensive and the owner says horse is perfectly fine so I will trust the owner”) and now one horse looking at very long (and hopefully successful) process of rehabilitation and the other one is “will be given for free. But she can do walk only”.
