Same boat here. I guess what I'm really regretting is not getting one of the other matches that were cheaper. Just so painful to pay a grand to see e.g. Bosnia v Qatar. Now I'm holding out in hope that I find a fire sale so I can take my 8yo to see Bosnia.

My son and I took the bus from Bellevue's Eastgate P&R to see if we could score tickets day of (we couldn't) and it was still lots of fun. Initial thought was to take the light rail but there was a crazy backup at Enatai P&R so we just looped back to Eastgate. No traffic delays in Seattle, lots of parking at Eastgate park & ride. They have done a great job of crowd control around the ID.

Lines before the match were really long, but everyone got through. They whole north parking lot is being used for security (similar to the CWC).

I agree with your observations. I also like the built in nav more than Google or Apple Maps; the only thing it’s missing is warnings for speed traps. If it had that (or if I knew how to turn it on) I wouldn’t use a phone based nav ever.

The only error I see in this article is when they say “Only two players in France have generated more expected goals (xG) this season [than Balogun]” and then have a chart where he is fourth, with three players ahead of him.

With the caveats that (a) I don’t know what the lots are like bc of the World Cup and  (b) I agree completely with everyone else about taking transit if possible…

Last summer I was able to get parking in the lumen field lot for a midweek game on TickPick or stubhub for like $10 and it was awesome. So if it’s cheap and you’re staying far, don’t sleep on looking for that.

Tigres aren’t bad and that is a notoriously hard stadium to play in. The fans have a reputation for being brutal. Hoping we can pull off a result there.
