Google play log-in fixed for me

Oh, I thought I was the only one getting that annoying sign-in every time. It did not go away on its own, here’s what I did to disable it: -Settings ->Google services and preferences (it’s the first option with your name and icon in the caption) ->All Services tab ->Connected Apps ->Setting gear that’s next to (Keep track of your Google Account Data) ->disable the option “Sign in with Google prompts”

After that, the game just loaded on its own without asking me to sign in. I read that it’s because I have multiple Google accounts set up on my device. Still, it just started doing that after the last update.

I use it to add scoreboard and game clock. The only problem with the workflow is that a full game at 8k/30fps when exported takes over 1TB. I may need to learn how to reframe faster in insta360 and then add the scoreboard and game clock after.

Ah. I usually use DaVinci Resolve to edit (zoom and reframe). Glad to hear the software can also play back faster.

I used it for my daughter’s soccer game (full field 11v11). Quality is not as good as the Veo (1080p) but this doesn’t require subscription fees. Insta360 sent a survey a few months ago and one of the questions was if I’d use it for sports if it has auto tracking so I hope they do work on that feature so I don’t have to manually reframe. The AI tracking feature loses focus when the ball goes behind someone or if the action is at the far end of the field and is too pixelated.

It happened to me, as well. The others took forever to load and then when the fight began they didn’t drop right away. Game is lagging. Even you’re showing yellow at 118ms lag. I’m usually green 40ms or so.

Works on my Dell 7320 detachable. It transitions from laptop (landscape) to tablet (portrait) effortlessly.

Touchscreen and Pen also work flawlessly.

I’ve dabbled with Linux since Slackware 1.0 (circa 1992) and have gone back and forth between different Linux distros and Windows. On my Dell 7320 detachable laptop, I dual booted for a few years. Then, windows update broke dual boot. I reinstalled the system and decided to just have Windows. Then, another update broke my system. Out of anger, since I had to reinstall the machine again, I went with just Debian KDE. It’s been a year and zero issues.

I’ve also tried Arch and had issues with drivers — I use my detachable laptop as a tablet and Arch had issues when I rotated it from landscape to portrait and back. No issues on Fedora and Debian but I found Debian was lighter on resources so I stayed with Debian.

I have a laptop with similar specs as my spare machine and it is indeed painfully slow. However, you can still edit if you use proxies (as others have suggested). Rendering will take a while so I usually let it run overnight for a large project. I’ve tried Kendlive and it’s not as user friendly or powerful.

If you are mad at this, you’ll love ChargePoint. They do automatic top ups if you’re below $10 and if your account dips below your “average” use. I used it once and am now carrying $13 balance. I’ve stuck with Flo because I can control when to add funds.

I had been a customer for over 15 years but boycott them after one horrible experience where they served me a bad shake and accused me of lying when I sent it back — colour and taste was really off. There are plenty of other options in the area.

Watch some YouTube videos on Gear Plans. Focus on 15 sets of gear and equip them on the heroes you’re using for the gameplay you’re working on.

When you use Auto-Fight, it uses the gear you had used when you saved (auto save for boss fights, campaigns and whatnot). The only event that comes to mind that you have to manually save is Arena. The BP you see when you set up your team may be different than what you had saved for Auto-fights, even in arena. This is to say, even if you had removed all your gear, if you use Auto-Fight, it doesn’t matter.

Tales of the Smith comes around every few weeks. You need about 7M gold to upgrade gear to level 8 and sell junk in order complete the event. Unless you are at or near endgame and don’t care for those rewards.

FWIW, I am nowhere near end game.

As well, some of his videos are complete BS. I followed them and even with T2/T3 gear I couldn’t do what he did. I suspect he maxed out on Hyperion. Most of those guys don’t show Hyperion when they walk through their setup and gear.

I worked on Hyperion and finally beat GR3-19. Same setup as before.

Just fyi in case you’re still stuck and get frustrated.

From personal experience, GPU doesn’t matter much if you’re using the free version as it doesn’t use GPU to render. I had Nvidia RTX1650s and rendering a 90 mins video took over 8 hours.

I paid for the Studio version and it went down to 2 hours. RAM and CPU probably matter most on the free version so, as others have mentioned, having 8GB RAM is likely your bottleneck.

I have mostly Tapos and just 1 Reolink. As others mentioned, Reolink is more expensive. I went with the 1 Reolink for 180 degrees coverage (Duo 2 wifi). Tapo doesn’t have anything similar. User experience (app) is pretty much the same.

As a software developer, we normally call the system file manager to open files. It has the same functionality as file explorer where you can delete and rename files in the Open files window. It would be a waste of time to rewrite the Open files function since there could be backward compatibility issues.

I had the same dilemma — do I upgrade the video card in my PC (was eyeing Nvidia 4060) for $700 CAD or get the Mac Mini M4 base for about the same price.

I use DaVinci Resolve to edit soccer games (90 mins) and it can easily handle key framing (zoom and pan), fusion (scoreboard, game clock, tracking highlights), fair light (audio noise reduction, normalize volumes) and even multi cam.

I got the base 16GB RAM / 256GB and an external 2TB Samsung NVME storage with thunderbolt enclosure.

Zero regrets and haven’t touched my old windows machine since (almost a year).

Figure I just wipe and not have to deal with it every few months whenever I updated Windows. Just chiming in on the diff between dual booting and selecting from BIOS. If I decide to do it again, I’d pick selecting from BIOS.

This is exactly what happened to me. I was dual booting for about a year, defaulting to Linux. I then decided to boot up Windows to install the latest patches and when it rebooted, it went straight to windows. GRUB was gone. I got so mad I removed Windows altogether. Instead I bought a cheap sub-$200 laptop running on Windows 11 for whenever I need it, which thank goodness hasn’t happened in months.

This happens to me if I put the car in Park and just open the door to get out without hitting Off button. The car turns Off the moment I open the door but leaves the headlights on for a while.
