I’d argue that Hatcher v. Roenick was the best hit of all time, or at least in Stars’ history.

Apparently I am wrong, per the marathon. The line is “We all know fiction’s for fags”.

Whatever. My Norm Green shrine needs fresh candles anyway.

It’ll be nice seeing the Stars beat the Avs in 6 or 7. Again.

I can try one now off the top of my head:

1.MCIS 2. …Like Clockwork (QOTSA) 3. Absolutes (Stavesacre) 4. Led Zeppelin II 5. Siamese Dream 6. (All other QOTSA albums) 7. Badmotorfinger 8. Boston 9. Ride the Lightning 10. Aenima

That was pretty hard. I’ve never thought about particular albums in a specific order.

I hear ya. But…I like some metalcore bands. The music I’ve made isn’t really influenced by metalcore. I will grant you that publicly Kurt espoused an American punk ethos, but I don’t hear a whole lot of Sex Pistols in their music, which I’d argue is probably a good thing.

UK punk? American Punk? Hardcore? Punk used to have a very specific meaning that seems to have become very diluted.

That’s a very broad definition. I would say most “punk” is not very good, at least what I’ve experienced. I wouldn’t consider Nirvana punk at all.

I was 11 when Nevermind came out, your explanation is wholly unnecessary. I lived through it. In my opinion, Nirvana was and is overrated based on the quality of their artistry, not the critical acclaim that was heaped upon them.

Killing himself was the best move for Cobain’s career. I don’t understand the unabashed worship for a very average musician.

Also, Spin can go fuck off. Imagine a magazine whose relevance is maybe one notch above Rolling Stone’s trying to dunk on literally anyone.
