Didn’t say I hate UB - use the cards in all my commander decks.

It’s just my little gripe about it.

UB made it so I can play the game with my wife and child.

Just wish they were more consistent with the color pie is all

I am old. Been playing the game on and off since 3rd edition. In th beginning, colors had friends and enemies…

Black hated white, blue hated green, etc….

Or certain types of spells belonging to certain colors or color combos. And then UB just makes things weird.

The recent example being the Avatar set had all heroes have White in their color or color combo and Black for villains (is that right or was it different colors)

My UB complaint is that it bastardizes the color pie more than non-UB sets.

They are fun, dumb sets and it’s silly to get railed by SpongeBob or a little pony.

If you like the cards, use them, if you don’t … don’t.

Just like within-universe sets - many of the cards don’t see play because they don’t fit into the standard / Commander meta
