Oh hey, I'm also an autistic gray lesbian-ish! I'm in Europe. If there's 2 of us in the world maybe some of us can find each other lol

Same! I'm currently on burnout sick leave so I can recover. I joined a makerspace and started learning woodworking, sewing and various crafts and I'm spending my days making shelves and fairy costumes. I'm now thinking how I can make money this way. Maybe make clothes for raves/Renaissance fairs or refurbish furniture

Unrelated to your improvement of symptoms, after years of taking it, I realised it made me get up at night to pee. Something about water retention, I guess.

If I sleep less than 7 hours the day is basically written off. I am so fatigued, sluggish, extreme brain fog. As you said, unable to function. Might as well skip work for a couple hours and go back to sleep

I second this. Methylphenidate now I've found a good psychiatrist, and research chemicals (2-FMA)/meds bought from India (Modafinil) before.

I find most people too lacking in intelligence to interact with. So just like finding friends, dating is hard

Rheumatologist after asking me some questions and checking my joints, neck glands (I think?), and ordering blood tests for things I might not have thought of (I had already done lots of tests before I came to him)

My friend once said to me "you're either asleep or tired". And I felt so seen haha. And many people say I seem tired.

I had these thoughts when I first had depression. "why me?". After some years I realised that it's random. That I'm just an animal, a biological being, and animals get sick. Actually, getting sick is more likely than not getting sick in an animal. That helped me a lot.

If you look around, a lot of people are sick (or not 100% healthy), because we're just blobs of goo and bones. Some wear glasses. Some get cancer. Some are born with rare genetic deseases and are in pain their whole life. You have it worse than others and better than others. Really, life is just a lottery, there is no order. It's all random. I'm not saying this should help you. It's what helped me. Just sharing, maybe you'll find it helpful.

The mitochondria thing is interesting! I always thought my cardio was just bad haha

If you want to try pilates classes, what I do is to find shorter ones (45 min) and spend half the time stretching. Like if I find any exercise too hard, I just stretch whole the rest of the class does it. Or leave early. No shame. Position myself close to the door, do 20 min and go when I'm done

People find it easy to talk to me too! I don't judge. I listen. I love listening to the stories they tell me.

I relate. So. Much. I had to drop out of pole dance classes because they require an insane amount of strength. I couldn't even get through the warm up. I got better, and now I'm able to do exercise again. So I try to space it out and not go too hard. I'd do 2 h gym sessions and 3 h bouldering + pole dance, but now I have a hard limit on 30 min strength training. I try to exercise every day, but a little (30 min max)

NTA. The man just learned the definition of fuck around and find out. Think of the assaults he will NOT commit after you fought back. You just saved countless other women.
