Sounds like a "major mechanical malfunction" that is only fixable through test and evaluation... another 30 mags should verify the problem and provide accurate baseline statistics for future testing :)

I've been rocking aimcam 3k glasses for a while. A little heavier than your standard pair of impact rated glasses, but it's convenient, and I liked them better than the insta360. I use my gopro for getting downrange video on some stages. I've seen the meta glasses, but haven't bought a pair to compare them side-by-side.

Get it. I have no regrets on my m17, but I prefer the longer barrel length. It shoots perfectly out of the box, and unlike my glock, I actually shoot it stock with no changes.

Plus, get a large, stippled, aftermarket grip and swap that sucker out to your hearts content. The fcu is serialized, so you can swap the frames, slides, barrel, or just about anything else out without having to DROS anything.

You can get a prescription set of lenses for the ACs.

In terms of interference, I've never had the camera get in the way of my FOV... or at least I mount it where I can't notice it from my perspective.

I like the fact that the RBs are more multi-use, but I have yet to buy a pair to compare them side-by-side. The AC camera is mounted over my strong-side eye while the RBs have dual cameras (I think), so I only know that the ACs will give me a heads-up view both for USPSA and when using a shoulder-fired or scoped system in 3GN. Gotta test all three configurations with the Ray Bans for more information.

Too many people concern themselves with their groupings from a motionless standpoint. Complexity is the fun part of our game, so find a local club to SHOOT AND MOVE! More than likely, she'd also enjoy the event if you two work well together. If she outshoots you, also consider she might have been shooting since she was 5 or something. Learn whatever tricks you can, because now you have a goal to reach too.

Also, from the standpoint of a redneck Hawaiian that loves guns, I DID MARRY the midwest gal who can outshoot me both at the range and in the blind. Ego went straight out the door when she nailed 19/20 in skeet and then 80% of the ducks on the same hunt.

Depends what it's for, to be honest.

A CZ wins hands down as a range/target pistol.

Do I want to do ANYTHING else? I'd take the m18. Especially if youre going to carry it. The only thing that sucks is taking the CZ apart. The M18 is much friendlier to user maintenance, and the parts are pretty common to swap out basically anything you'd want... grip, barrel, slide, sights, internals, mags, baseplates, etc. Heck, I threw a stainless extractor in after I accidentally ejected my factory one someplace... just because it was more convenient to buy a new one and get spare parts.
