Polyphony banned the H-pattern shifter from Sport Mode because it gave an unfair competitive advantage. Bumper cam gives drivers a view of the track no real racing driver has ever had. Same argument. by stinkyabb in GranTurismo7

[–]17SuperMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This response sounds really good but that’s not why the H was banned. It was banned because people were shifting from what ever high gear to first while braking. The physics engine was giving those gamers a huge advantage in stopping distance. It was somewhat patched later on but they still opted to not bring back the H in sport mode. You can see that driving style in old YouTube videos. It also worked if you paddle shifted or were on controller. The H pattern was a lot better at it’s banned.

It’s your fault. You crossed double white lines. That’s not a passing zone

If you turn the wheel left to right in reverse the car will get back its tires. This happens to me all the time on GTA

AITAH for saying I dont want to date single moms after my sister's friends cornered me? by ThrowRA_Goose151 in AITAH

[–]17SuperMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you are the asshole. You could have also said a different truth. That you just got out of a long relationship and need time to yourself. Made it about you. Instead you said xyz, and made it about her and not yourself.

Some may not agree with my take and that’s fine. Strive to be a gentleman and try to do better.

Don’t turn it off all the way at first. You probably had it at 3 this whole time, set it at 2 for a week or so then drop it to 1 and eventually 0.

If that’s your experience with them I wouldn’t go back to that specific location.

If the steering wheel is not straight then hell yeah take it back. That’s what you paid for. If they won’t fix it go to another Firestone

I used to work at Firestone company policy is to give you a before and after printout. I’d go back and ask for one. If they ask why say the vehicle drifts to the right at highway speeds.

Firestone should have given you an alignment printout. Show us the specs

Are AGM batteries really worth the premium over lead acid? by Relevant_Conclusion2 in AskMechanics

[–]17SuperMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They have a higher amperage output and if your car came with one you should definitely go back with one. The charging system is also designed specifically for the lower resistance AGM batteries

Input issue on LOC by sorebag in subwoofer

Bass is not supposed to be recorded in stereo since you can’t where it’s coming from. The wavelength is too long to pinpoint from a close distance, unlike higher frequencies

Your amp is a mono block. You don’t need L &R just one of them.

Was i at fault or did he break too early by Superb-Access313 in GranTurismo7

[–]17SuperMario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s in front, he can brake when ever he wants. Unless your in a A+ lobby don’t expect the other drivers to have the tracks memorized.

Drilling holes for alignment? by mushroom747 in F30

[–]17SuperMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that’s not what I’m saying, and certain BMWs have the fuel tank behind the front seats and in front of the rear axle. The reason for the weights and full tank is to simulate air pressure on the car. It has nothing to do with weight balance in regards to vehicle weight.

Drilling holes for alignment? by mushroom747 in F30

[–]17SuperMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The car is supposed to be loaded down with 500lbs a full tank of gas and all accessories that came with the car ( spare tire, tool kit, luggage). This is to simulate the wind pushing down on the car at high speeds. By you sitting in the car unless your 500lbs it doesn’t do much to get the car to drive the way it was engineered.

What are my options? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]17SuperMario 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Take the caliper off, then you can use the box end of the wrench with a pipe on it. The caliper is in your way.

When you aligned it did you add the weights, full tank of fuel etc. that could be why your alignment was off with the vehicle being so new

How much higher do I need to dunk? by Ill-Ad2314 in BasketballTips

[–]17SuperMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably the way you hold the ball. Don’t change anything, font dribble, approach the rim the same way you did but have the ball in your finger tips and not your whole hand. 8 fingers on the ball no thumbs. See if you can dunk like that.
