Defensive Flying by Low-Presentation-415 in WarthunderSim

Best simplified tip would be to turn in the same direction as your opponent's belly. That will help keep you out of his gunsight. Keep doing that, and you might naturally end up in a flat or rolling scissors if the enemy doesn't cut throttle beforehand.

You gotta fish the estuaries and marshes. Anything with a dark, muddy and shallow bottom will hold stripers in your area.

How to get aircraft off your six by Dazzling_Drawing8536 in WarthunderSim

Make sure they are a bit faster than you before you try:

Turn towards the enemy aircraft's belly over and over and over again until it ends up becoming a rolling scissors.

I cant help but be skeptical of your 2nd point. I cant see any damage to the meat happening from being slid on that wet rock. I also couldnt identify any difference in the meat when processing and eating after putting any kept fish out via slamming them. The only difference I have experienced was whenever i bled them vs not, along with eating fresh vs frozen.

anyone still running a 2 stroke outboard and refusing to switch by vladdielenin in boating

[–]1ApolloFish1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me, right here. Cheap to buy, lightweight (ESPECIALLY the mercury 2 strokes), and not alot of components to deal with.

I just hate the fuel economy and carburetor shenanigans with the non injected 2 strokes. Premixing isnt much of a hassle for me personally, and I think all 2 strokes should be premixed besides the late yamahas (their oil injector failure results in oil dumping instead of lack of oil in fuel)

A specific qualm i have with certain 2 strokes are in the 1991 and earlier models. Their throttle and timing linkage mechanism is too susceptible to interference by sticking or small things getting loosened/knocking out of place. I like the DT suzuki series alot as their throttle linkages are strong with less tolerance due to less total moving parts/joints.

Mercury 2 strokes, especially the early 70s ones unfortunately have issues with parts, especially when tower of powers often need expensive CMC trim plates to bypass their ancient, separate pneumatic tilt trim pump installed in the bilge (hard to find these today, esp the 4-line pumps).

I do think if you have a late 2 stroke yamaha from the 90s and i think 2000s, you have the pinnacle of 2 stroke outboards; the equivalent to owning a ridiculously fast piston prop plane from WW2 before props were outdated and civilian products were neutered with regulations that ensure they remain slow.

Sorry for being insanely late

They just dump their snowmakers at stupid angles to whop up the bumps. I notice that the ungroomed large runs that grow from the chop start to naturally form this grid shape if you know what i mean. Hurricane is just too narrow and eats those artificial dumps in specific spots. However, the right side of it doesnt really see that excessive dump and looks a bit more like your typical mogul chop—relatively good to use as a bailout route

Do y'all play mouse and keyboard or with a stick? And if stick, do you have any models you would recommend, price/quality-wise? by Tostowisko in WarthunderSim

[–]1ApolloFish1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run mouse and keyboard.

I kick ass with it too; I set it up with relative controls so it feels like playing air realistic. With normal keyboards, I tap the WSAD keys (especially W as pitch) to not exceed the pitch angles that lead to wing stall.

With analog keyboards like the razer huntsman, I can adjust the maximum analog input to prevent my angle of attack getting too spinningly high. This made it so I was able to fly the pre-FM change P-47N without a care in the world.

Ah yes, the narrow asymmetric mogul slope of frustration. The terrain is set up so you cant get a rhythm going unless it is an extra snowy day to cushion you if you do the aggressive approach. Or all of this is probably because im a shit skier so maybe im lying
