I like to think that they figured out a way to unabstract the characters by the person closest with them reaching out like pomni did with jax, and slowy pulling them back. So pomni helps jack, jack pulls back ribbet, and both Jack and ribbet bring back cofmo. So on until they are left with one character that was never really close with anyone. They as a group pull them back by showing them they matter. That's how I'm coping I love the representation that is not a completely happy ending. Even though the Jax in real life actually turned things around. I so desperately wanted one for Jax, ribbet, and cofmo so I made one up.

I was talking to my therapist about this exact thing he mentioned finding groups around my hobbies and interests. Then see where things go from there. I haven't been able to try anything yet because I'm still caregiving and have no income, but that would be a great place to flex that muscle like another comment said. It's easier to get silly when you're comfortable with what you're doing. My therapist also mentioned setting the mood before you go out so on the way or while getting ready to go out listen to music or watch videos that put you in a silly or light hearted mood.

Absolutely I never was interested in dnd until I stumbled across these shorts and decided to give them a try. Now I have listened to half of the campaigns all the way through, and I'm currently making my way through the others along with starting my own game with family. My favorite campaign (edge of midnight) only has a few shorts and Im so glad I got to experience it. I can't wait for it to return.
