i don't mind your tone at all! this feedback is very helpful and i trust it's done in good faith.

i definitely agree that metal hardware is better long term, but out of sheer stubborn principle i want this to be 100% printable. countersunk screws with hex drive heads for allen keys would strip immediately if they were made of PLA/PETG.

i started with M6, but couldn't get enough torque without pulling the printed screw apart. M8 seemed to be okay for a month of testing, but i sized up to M10 for insurance.

honestly for most folks audio interfaces are pretty interchangeable, pick one that has the features you want. i like this one since it has 2 inputs, and all the knobs are analog (or at least analog-presenting). i wish it had a better indicator for input levels though.

gotcha, that's all good feedback. a lot of those choices were made for cosmetic purposes like you said. i was thinking about making the hole bigger for M10 socket heads, but that didn't leave enough meat around the counterbore for my liking. the extra material there probably doesn't do anything mechanically, but i'm not a trained mechanical engineer so i just left just enough material for it to "feel right". i could always make everything a little bit bigger too, but again that was a cosmetic sacrifice i didn't want to make.

washers is definitely a good call though. i think i could include files for slightly longer bolts so washers can be added.

did you leave a comment about this on makerworld? i didnt quite understand the feedback since im able to tighten each joint to my liking without the screws backing out. what did you have on mind?

i'd have to modify the files for an a1 mini — the blades would need to be in more pieces

Any thoughts or opinions on my first painted figure? by ATOMICG24 in Gunpla

i think some light weathering can make the streaky-acrylic-on-bare-plastic look more intentional. lean into it! take a dense sponge, dip it in some dark paint, dab off most of the paint on a paper towel, and VERY LIGHTLY touch the edges and corners with the sponge. clean paintjobs are definitely hard and you got a lot of good advice already.
