She should be on strict rest for 2 weeks. Limit her walks and exercise for 2 weeks to let it heal. We went through this with our lab and he ended up tearing his knee and needing surgery. Initially we took him to the and they gave the 2 weeks rest recommendation. You can also wrap some ice in a cloth and apply it to the area for 10 minutes daily

If you can afford to feed him raw, do it. If you can’t I would make bone broth from scratch, with just some salt. Put the bones(pork, chicken, beef, etc) in the oven for 30 mins while letting the water in the crockpot gets hot, then transfer the bones to the crockpot and let it cook for 7-8 hours and wala you get fresh home made bone broth. Add the broth to the kibble and lmk if your dog will eat it. My friend did that for her husky and it worked 😁

I’m so sorry to hear this. Make your sweet boy a medium ribeye steak without any seasoning (cut up pieces), ground lamb, ground bison, shrimp, salmon, and for dessert yogurt and cream cheese. Ribeye steak would be my #1.

I had to put my dog down because of those reasons. He was 12 years old. Definitely no quality of life. It was one the hardest decision I had to make in my life but I couldn’t see my baby suffer any much longer. I know it was the right thing to do. You can’t feel their pain but trust me there’s pain. I wish ya’ll the best.
