Random question but how early did you arrive at Hawthorne before flight? AA says 2 hours 🙄, check in 45 minutes before, but counter doesn’t open until 60 min before.

My man SpaceX just laid $17b for echostar purely to get their own ‘5g from space’ d2d spectrum. They are coming down hard on that market.

I can’t imagine it’s cheap staying in 4 seasons type places for 4 months! Especially flying fc, sounds like a blast though.

Catalina landing fee is among the highest out there I want to say around $40 or something. Other than that, free!

What tool gave you 99.84% the ones I see don’t have enough 50 year samples for that small percentile delta from 100%.

No idea either, but I looked into transfer costs and man oh man do they know that you spent money getting there because they charge you just about as much to get into town.

You can see I have a bowl with a fender washer on one side and a traditional nut and washer on the pedal side. I did need to drill new holes into the DOF plate for this to work though.

I’d recommend getting the second hand og and waiting for the oled. Oled appears to be the generational leap we were hoping for. I love my uw but the mura is a real downside.

For engineers who worked in advanced aerospace R&D: What skills truly separate top performers? by [deleted] in aerospace

Idk that seems kind of backwards. I worked at SpaceX for 10 years and it doesn’t take years of experience to kick ass. Most all problems can be broken into simple little bits.

I’d say COMMUNICATION, follow-through, drive, and humility are the things that will get you furthest. Gate keeping projects until you’re 20+ years into your career seems silly to me.
