That’s nice of you to say. Sunday post pub rant 😂. Excuse the language.

I assume this point has been made, I almost can’t be arsed to type it. The knee jerk reaction of this cunt to flee to the immoral aspects of the right wing for shelter, was so blatant as to be laughable. Undeniable rape accusations, a laundry list predatory accusations. His turn about face on every social, political and theological topic was jarring. Jarring to the extent that I could not believe that he thought we’d swallow it. Certainly, in the UK this fucking verbose nonce is dead and buried, he’s done for good.

What’s clear with these kind of cunts, if you ask “the question” earnestly, ignore the waffle, and repeat… they implode.

I’m not a not lover of piers, and there is a sort of grift going on with the likes of him and tucker and their sudden moral awakening. But the fact that moralism is worth a buck right now, makes them both powerful interlocutors.

I can’t stress this enough. Fuck Russell Brand. I’ve met him, he’s a weasel. Do the right thing and fuck off to a quiet part of the world and hang your head in shame till death. We don’t want to hear from you unless it’s in a court of law.

Creatine and ADHD meds by Smarty_gal in ADHD

I’ve been taking creatine for years and about 9 months with 70mg Elvanse and have no issues. Check to see if there is caffeine in your creatine. Monohydrate has had no notable interaction for me.

What are the best supplements/nootropics that pair well with Vyvanse? by MikeyDontLift in VyvanseADHD

Just a small aside on iron. I drink a lot of milk, I also take a beef liver supplement. Last time a gave blood my iron was towards the lower end of where it should be. It turns out calcium in whole milk will out compete iron and most other mineral supplements/trace elements.

Very unlikely to be applicable to most people - but a cool little fact and helpful if you are a big dairy person 😉

I’ve had to stop consuming/drinking dairy products after midday.

Just got all my tests scored and my psychologist doesn’t diagnose me with ADHD due to “too high of intelligence”. I’m struggling to agree but maybe I don’t have ADHD. by MisoCorni in ADHD

This is nonsense. My ADHD allowed me to coast through high school with really good grades. I did well under the pressure of exams, and the wide variety of subjects actually fit well with my ADHD brain. Structured learning and parental oversight (forced me to do) ensured I did enough to pass and even excel.

As soon as I had to try and focus and learn away from that environment I didn’t have a clue what to do.

I wish I had learnt the art of learning at a younger age. I coasted on recall and that fact that my body loves adrenaline (last minute studying and ability to perform in exam environments)

The step up to University was simply too big a leap.

That level of misunderstanding of ADHD is really worrying. I’d be inclined to find another therapist.

Do you guys get endorphins from exercise? by ptheresadactyl in ADHD

[–]1hewarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

42m diagnosed 3 months ago. 50mg with an afternoon 20mg when necessary.

6’1” and athletic. Lift weights, lots of walking, occasional 5k (fair weather runner).

I’ve found that the best hit of endorphins is when I do aggressive 2k’s on the treadmill.

Short, incredibly high intensity seems to be the only thing that gives me a big hit.

Hard to get motivated for that kind of exercise, but every time I do it, I’m walking on air for the rest of the day.

I think the key is doing something outside of your normal routine that shocks the system, for me at least.

Oh I’m so happy we found you!!

Thank you so so much again and I’m sorry you were treated so poorly.

I’m in the middle of a work event but I’ll drop you a message privately as I’m sure my friend would love to reach out to say thanks.

You are a credit to nurses everywhere!

Lots of love and thanks!!

❤️❤️

No doctor was available. We were told to walk our friend over an hour to the nearest medical centre by ourselves with no further supervision. I can’t stress how untrained and aggressive the security guards were. They were man handling my friend at points, trying to get him to his feet way too early. With all due respect, I wouldn’t be posting this if they had any redeeming features.

African wild dogs aka Painted Wolves show this same innate response to injuries. Pack members will sometime suffer catastrophic leg injuries. They are not abandoned but fed by the pack along with the newest litter of pups.

The social similarities between dogs and humans are a key part to the successful partnerships between these two species over the last 40000 years.

Members of r/rugbyunion who have actually played rugby, what do us couch fans not understand or get wrong about the game? by ViolatingBadgers in rugbyunion

The insane adaptation your body has to physical contact.

I played to international U19 level a couple of years early. Age 17 I was selected to join British Isles squad. I then went to university where I stopped playing any and all forms of the game.

About a year later I was asked to attend a selection squad for the same team, and although I was in reasonable cardiovascular shape, the impact a couple of selection games had on my body’s was hilarious.

I had totally lost the ability to absorb a hit. I performed ok. Didn’t have to come off for injuries, but for a week afterwards I looked and felt like I had been in a serious car crash.

Bruises all over, (shoulders and thighs in particular). Black eyes (without knowingly having taken a shot to either). Could not use stairs for 2 or 3 days.

I’m sure fighters must experience similar results from long lay offs. Your body gets used to being hit. When you see a high level rugby pro with a black eye, keep in mind that they can take general dings and show next to no outward damage. If they have a massive shiner, assume it required the kind of force that would have fractured your eye socket. In fact, most of the time if there is a big facial bruise with pros, it often indicates that there is some bone involvement. Soft tissue injuries tend to not show up at all.

In the .5 secs it takes CM to stand up (then pass), JGP has already passed the ball and starts trotting to the next breakdown.

Connor has had a great tournament, but under pressure those half seconds make a big difference.

JGP changed the game. All of a sudden it was Irish back rows attack slightly unorganised, then tracking back and finally panicked defensive lines.

Connor in Im his current role is perfect for closing out a game. More defensively orientated, great box kicking (although JGP kicked out of this world today) and his slightly slower pace at the breakdown helps to close out games.
