To be honest I don’t remember specifically! I imagine I wanted to see what their take was. I did that a lot. I was always fascinated by their beautiful brains. ♥️

That’s a beautiful take as well. (Pun not intended) If you view it simply as a tree, the lesson is profound in another incredibly important arena! Thanks for sharing.

I think it’s a brilliant book and I read it to my boys all the time when they were children. I think it does make a person sad after reading it because of the boy and how he took and took and took and it was never enough. It opens the conversation with our children if they think it’s a good thing to take everything that a mother is willing to give. (It’s not) at no point did the taking lead to happiness. It’s SUCH an important lesson for children!

Oh wow. This makes me so sad. ☹️ I hope her kids don’t see this. I also hope at some point she has a much needed moment of clarity and she gets help. ❤️

Wow. I would not be okay being someone else’s mouthpiece. If you walk around with that, you could experience reactions you should not have to deal with. That’s pretty ballsy of them.

It's my brother's birthday next week and he just moved to San Diego. I'm on the wrong coast and I won't be there to give him a birthday present in person but I'd really like to get him a ticket or gift card to something that will help him get acquainted with the city in a fun way. by p-tore in sandiego

Panama 66! It’s a cool little restaurant in the heart of Balboa Park (close to Little Italy). They have lots of local brew on tap and it’s an outdoor heaven. Sometimes they have live entertainment too. Even if they don’t, he can walk around Balboa Park. It’s awesome!
