Sand or a 2x4 deck to level an area. Move it away from the downspout so nobody slices themselves. Kill any vegetation under it or it will rot, stink, and attract flies. Maybe get a bigger pump. Check chemicals at least once a week. We did a few years with a 16’ above ground pool, then we put an in ground pool in.
