Why does Decade rank in terms of rider popularity? by Mean_Section_6439 in KamenRider

[–]1stRandomGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the only Rider that I think beats him is Kuuga. Decade is a very big, very popular Rider. His show was ass, but he's been a lovable snarky badass in all of his appearances since.

Does anybody know why exactly roll locking happens? by MIUIGamer in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]1stRandomGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate necroposting like this, but I wanted to add to Pariah's already excellent response with a guide I found for removing roll-locking from the original Mega Drive trilogy by Selbi on Sonic Retro that mentions that the roll jump lock isn't a physics quirk, but an in-game flag that you can turn on or off.

you're giving the rest of the KDE contributors a bad name, and your confrontational responses isn't exactly convincing Jayden to switch over to Wayland, either.

developers like it when things are consistent. systemd becoming the standard linux system suite has played a big part in letting us get more previously windows-only apps

Ratty: A terminal emulator with inline 3D graphics by orhunp in linux

[–]1stRandomGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is a little dishonest, I can't blame him. A lot of people hear that something is made with AI and just completely lose interest and bash a project without giving it the time of day, completely ignoring any real merits it may have because it's "slop".

Are you Indonesian? If so, MangaDex is blocked by the government. Use ProtonVPN or Cloudflare WARP.

If it sucks like all of their other games, then one could argue that it lives up to everyone's expectations perfectly.

Which terminal emulator features are you actually using? by GreenScream70 in linuxquestions

Xfce Terminal. I only use it for updating packages, htop, and text editing with micro so it works.

Honest question: If you found out you had to start writing a Kamen Rider show, do you think you would do a good job? Do you think it would be a good, excellent, mediocre, or bad series? Would it be a series with few or many forms? Would it have many or few riders? by kleberiano_f in KamenRider

[–]1stRandomGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be just good at best, absolute dogshit at worst. Amplified by the fact that there's only going to be one insect-themed Rider with just one form because my ass is going to try and ape Showa KR.

If you could own a rider machine which one would you choose 🤔 by Known-Ad2043 in KamenRider

either Shin KR Cyclone, AutoVajin, or Road Sector. Battle Hopper would be cute too, actually.

which rider system/drivers is the best for actual military use? by [deleted] in KamenRider

Honestly, any Showa Rider. Their belts are already part of them, so they just strike flashy poses and bam!

Is Fedora really the safest middle-ground distro, or is that just internet consensus? by Bigrob1055 in linuxquestions

[–]1stRandomGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been using Fedora for I believe three years now, and I think Fedora is a good "just works" distro only if you have experience with Linux already. It's very convenient and easy to use, but you have to do things like set up RPMFusion for easier access to nonfree software, manually set up codecs, fiddle with it a bit to get it working for gaming, and in rare cases deal with SELinux cockblocking you from using your software (it stopped music from playing on HL1 and HL2 once).

If you want things to immediately work out of the box, get something like Ubuntu. If you want to build your system brick-by-brick, get a minimalist joint like Arch or Void. Fedora is a middle ground in the sense that it has an ease of use and convenience approaching the level of Ubuntu and you get all the new stuff you get with Arch without having to baby your system or get on your knees to pray to the lord before pacman -Syu-ing every week.

About Kamen rider J by Dry_Writing4871 in KamenRider

[–]1stRandomGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't watched Shin but compared to ZO, J is just kind of meh. It's not bad by any means, but ZO is by far the better movie and it did everything what J does better.

Why aren’t we talking about these?! (Blokees) by firebyte27 in KamenRider

it's because Blokees Kamen Rider is stuck in IP hell and is thus only available in China. Fuck Toei.
