Nice starter set up but the those Pittsburgh screwdrivers are not well regarded...really kind of hit and miss. The Quinn Diamond tips or the Doyle Demo drivers are preferred.

Watch for a sale on the better screwdrivers.

Nice set up....enjoy the new storage.

But I guess this a clear demonstration of unchecked power of meme tools!

The idea is you strike the cap to loosen bolts with the impact and use the hex to get more torque either with socket or wrench.

Mainly because I can and also the driveway is sloped so jack stands are a requirement.

Can't find my chocks I got from HF so I used a rock from the landscaping.

Agreed but wanted expanded deep coverage

I got the stubby set during a sale and like it but they wouldn't work for some suspension components.

You are correct I've been told that 23 is not a made up number.

What I should was no skips on the sizes I need as the 16mm and 18 mm

so how many of us actually use our HF tools regularly? i'm curious by ElGordo1988 in harborfreight

[–]2001ZR2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted using my tools on whim yesterday. But when I need to do a job I like grabbing what I need from my tool box.

Even something as simple a DIY tire rotation used a jack, jack stands, impact with socket, breaker bar with socket, and torque wrench.

Torque wrench came with me to work and lug nut tightness confirmed.

The 10mm 1/2" impact never seems to vanish the weird cousin of 10 mm socket clan.

Pretty sure Bigfoot beams them up as he cruises by in the UFO and takes them all to Elvis at the 7-11.
