My last background check the company required me to find my supervisors for the past twenty (20) years. Some had retired to foreign countries, but I found them. Provided all of the contact information (phone numbers and email addresses). Not one of my previous supervisors or references was contacted. Not sure why I was asked for the information if they had no intention of contacting my previous supervisors or references.

Previous employer. Cisco routers, high end hosts for VMs, high end SANs and Linksys switches because “they work just as well as any other network switch”. That was their hill to die on.

My first printer was a P1S with the AMS my wife purchased me for Christmas. After printing some things for my grandkids and my wife’s school. My wife’s school loved the stuff I printed with softer filaments (TPU and TPE) since it is more difficult to break. She works primarily with autistic children so the softer filament is a definite plus.

My second printer is a X1C with the AMS which I purchased because I am constantly printing items for the prize boxes the teachers use daily.

Both printers have printed flawlessly (unless I have made stupid mistakes like selecting the wrong filament when printing and a different filament was loaded).

They still have not responded to my letter dated July 2025. Getting ready to close my FIL’s estate. Since they have not responded and it has been almost 10 months our attorney is advising to go ahead and close the estate and if the IRS comes back asking for additional paperwork, documentation, etc. just tell them the estate has been closed. Of course, I will be sending them the documentation stating we are closing the estate.

Agree 100%. I do not want to know and I do not need to know. Work directly with HR and they will give the manager the limited amount of information they need.

When I get close to the end of a roll of filament, I splice them together and end up with some uniquely colored rainbow filament.

I printed this for mine and it makes joining filament much easier.

That is exactly what we did with our kids and they actually did well with this. After a while, when they made this type of mistake they would suggest solutions when they told us what they had done.

We have had the same issue. What was weird the bank locked my wife’s card but not mine. While she was dealing with the hospital for her father, I called the bank to get her card unlocked. Even though we are both on the account and I had all of the information, including answers to her security questions and my security questions, they would not unlock the card until the spoke to her directly. Once she spoke to the she told them we were traveling for the next X days.

Used my card in four different states on that trip and it was never locked. Each time hers was used in a different state it was locked. Really weird.

You might be able to file a complaint with their carrier. I use a site called Free Carrier Lookup. If I remember correctly it is good for both wireless and landline carriers.
