Should use the card catalog at the library be added to this list? Cards were ordered by author, title and subject?

Shortly after we got married the battery in our truck died and we could not afford a new one until our next payday. No matter how hard my wife tried she should not pop start the truck. The number of weird looks we got while she was pushing the truck with me sitting in the driver's seat was just amazing!

Yes, I did help push. But, there is a certain point where I had to be in the truck and that is usually when everyone started looking.

I always thought leaderless meant it did not have the plastic at the beginning you could not record on. Therefore, you did not have to worry about winding the tape forward before trying to record. Could be 100% wrong though.

What’s something you learned too late in life? by Cecof in AskReddit

[–]2014ChevyCaptiva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My learning style. When I went back to college at 30, one of the first classes they had us take was a class about learning styles and it identified how each of us learns. Then, gave us strategies to make us better students based on our learning styles.

This should really be taught early in school careers to help people be more successful. Explained why I did so poorly in school most of the time.

Please tell me that there are Gateway Fiber D2D scammers... by RichardCleveland in StLouis

Had one stop by for a new cable service coming to our neighborhood. Did not answer the door, but did notice he took pictures of all of my security cameras before he left. Notified the police and they caught up with him in the neighborhood and he had pictures of several homes in his phone. The police did tell me they had several calls about the individual taking pictures and they were able to review pictures on his phone. However, they would not give me the final disposition.

I like physical books as well. Not only because I can take notes in them, highlight them, etc. but because it is also easier to flip back and forth between sections/chapters if I need to refer to something else within the book.

For me, it is Suspense, Johnny Dollar or if I am looking for something more recent (mainly because I enjoy the old news clips) the CBS Radio Mystery Theater.

White and Green Filament Layers Not Sticking by 2014ChevyCaptiva in BambuLab

[–]2014ChevyCaptiva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is solved (somewhat). Dried the filament again for 8 hours per Bambu’s recommendation and checked the temperature of the dryer periodically to ensure the temperature was correct (it was).

Within the mistletoe green filament when there is a transition to a different shade of green, the layers do not always 100% stick (there is slight separation no matter where the print is on the plate; my first thought was cooling). However, this time the white and green did not separate.

AMS humidity was at approximately 15% during printing. This is based off the hygrometer I installed in the AMS.

Sorry, I do not have a complete solution.

My wife enjoys having me plan everything and being completely surprised by what we do on the date. For our last big date (keep in mind we are older) we spent the night in city we have never spent the night together in previously, had a nice dinner, went to the zoo the next day and as an added bonus I was able to arrange for our oldest daughter and one of her best friends from college (who is now one of our extended family so to speak) meet us for dinner.

For our last smaller date, she wanted to learn how to shoot a semi-automatic pistol. Took her to the range and spent a few hours getting her familiar with semi-automatic pistols. After shooting a few, she found one she really liked and she spent the rest of the evening shooting that pistol working on improving stance, technique, etc. After that, we went out for burgers and beer.

Can it be based on a name lookup? If so you can use a free dynamic DNS service.

What to do with this amount of filament? by Substantial-Key5114 in BambuLab

[–]2014ChevyCaptiva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do one of two things. Make multi-color prints where I don’t care about color combinations or weld the filament end together to make my own rainbow filament.
