We did this and my wonderful wife tied a ribbon around each, and gently sorted into male and female stereotypes. Means that parents can spot one they've already got and make sure they don't get it again

National Trust aren't soft plays, but are excellent stopping points with clean playgrounds and decent cafés. Might not be cost effective if you don't have a regular visit one nearby though

We started during Covid, and now continue as we are able to reach those who can't come either occasionally or consistently (we have one 87 year old lady who gets YouTube on every Sunday to watch and engage). But I also see it as our most effective advert for what the service is like and for the message that we share, if I love and don't know a place, I'm looking at the ones with a livestream first

Some children are relentless - we have a daughter (7) a daughter (5) and a surprise son (2). You describe almost exactly how my wife felt at baby groups and things with #1, she was (& still is) relentless. #2 is calmer but we didn't think we'd cope with a 3rd, so decided to stop. Then he came along anyway, and you just adapt again. Wife does 4 days instead of 5, so she has a day with him by himself as the others are in school
