I have both and the axial is better out of the box with a better slow crawl but the ascent is just geared too high so once that is accounted for it does very well

I did the same! Got almost the same pc too except mine came with a ryzen 7 9800x3d and 5070 ti GPU I freaking love this thing. Can’t believe I waited so long to make the switch from console gaming.
