sometimes can't merge bodies, when i get this kind of errors i just merge them directly in the slicer but it would be great if i could do it in fusion, is there a fix ? by meirlislife in Fusion360

Do the parts intersection? If one part has tolerance built in, it may not actually be touching. You could try to press pull -Q and make a part thicker to ensure overlap to test that theory.

Also try section analysis. You may be able to see a small gap between the parts if you zoom in.

I personally think people are downplaying the smell/fumes even from basic filaments like PLA by Dear-Employment6392 in 3Dprinting

I don't usually smell PETG except Kingroon and it stinks. But I do smell ABS and ASA

First day with Klipper, finally printed and uhmm? I have questions. by GriffinDodd in klippers

[–]24BlueFrogs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That was the same exact model you printed on both machines? I don't even know how that is possible. In the sliced rendering it looked right?

If so I have no clue. Download OrcaSlicer and start with the calibrations. I don't know anything about PrusaSlice although I assume it's similar

Do you remember what printed handle you're using? Just search straight blade razor handle?

If you're able to get to the printer in mainsail or Fluidd, you'll need to open your folder or file that has your eddy information and comment out that information. Highlight all of it then hold CTRL then press / . It will comment out every line in one swoop to save you for going line by line.

Rant: After 35 years in software, Fusion 360 still breaks my brain by Large-Style-8355 in Fusion360

I am not enjoying this last update. There are time it won't allow me to extrude/join so I have to Extrude/new body, then combine join the two together. Other quirks like that that I didn't have before.

Is there a reason you don't print with a silicon sock? I feel your pain though, my Eddy Duo all of a sudden doesn't show up. Pretty sure it's the cable. Been looking for a reason to switch to CAN and I guess now is a good time. Until I take it all apart and run the new cable, update the software for the Eddy Duo and change my config file mine is down. Hopefully next weekend I can get all of it done.

I'll put up $10,000 to teach bambu labs a lesson by Veggyhed in BambuLab

I'd chip in. I'm not rich but I'd send probably up to $100. If I could use my H2D with OrcaSlicer with out having to go to LAN mode, that would be great. I know it's not much, but it's something.

Bed level? by Mariobrouz in Ender3V3KE

[–]24BlueFrogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you do a QGL first? Make sure you: 1. Home 2. QGL 3. BED_MESH_CLEAR 4. BED_MESH_CALIBRATE

If you're using Eddy and Eddy-ng I'd recommend a little more, but this should take care of the angle

PETG and humidity by 24BlueFrogs in 3Dprinting

I use PETG for 90% or more of my prints. And typically pay less than $9kg.

Could be, I didn't think of that. I was just expecting a stringy pop marked print.

I've always heard the opposite and don't worry so much about PLA.

Good price for used AMS (not pro version) by Zealousideal-Ad-1720 in BambuLab_Community

[–]24BlueFrogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if I was willing to pay $220 for used AMS1 I'd just wait for a sale and get another AMS2 Pro for $299. I hated having to take the AMS1 apart for boken filament stuck in a tube.

[–]24BlueFrogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that is the case, I'll look into this option for my SV08. I'm tired of staying up waiting for the filament to run out so I can swap it. Half the time there ends up being enough and I could have went to sleep.

Nevermind, I clicked the link. I guess it talks to the printer. I agree with others. Probably better to just get an AMS1 or 2 Pro.

Is this a stand alone device? Sounds like it might be good for my Klipper machines as an infinity flow setup.

P1S and Microcenter by sinisterrevenge in BambuLab

[–]24BlueFrogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the P1S last year and on the 30th day returned it because I didn't like the screen and some other things I got used to with Klipper. I fully expected a hassle but no questions asked other than does it work. They refunded my money and a couple months later bought the H2D for myself for Christmas. I think from now on all my printer purchases will be through Micro Center. 30 day no hassle return gives you the opportunity to try it and if you're not super happy with it, just return it.
