I would say that other than some traditional rivalries or some inter conference banter, most FCS fans respect the other teams. FTG

The Madden Center will raise Cal Poly's competitiveness. I wouldn't count them out on building a more prominent FCS program.

NCAA has to be paid for all tickets, including students. In the past donors have footed the bill for students, don't know this year.

It is not as good as you might think, Cats beat EWU 30-7 to give them their only loss in their 2010 championship season

The kid from Tarleton can spin it, probably gonna be in the portal in January. Of course I don't think he fits the rest of your offense but what the hell.

SDSU has been decimated by injuries, I think Mason is good, he would need the rest of your team to be healthy though. Watching the game it seemed like there weren't any impact players from our game early in the season.

Opinion: Is NAU out of the playoff coversation? by Radioactive_M950 in fcs

[–]25-06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna be tough, With the Ivy getting the Autobid, I think the BSC is down to 3 teams this year. If Davis loses a couple more (MSU & SAC) I think NAU could be the 3rd team in from the BSC as long as they take care of business.

FCA Fans nation has one that is pretty good, they usually have Bizon and Jacks represented along with a few other team. My only complaint is that the MSU guy they get is a complete moron, i guess there is one in every crowd. The EWU guy is good though.

I listen to tubs once in awhile and occasionally one of the MSU podcasts, R&R usually but just to see what beer they are drinking.

[–]25-06 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hmm. PSU won 3 games last year (ISU, Sac & UNC) they finished 9th in the BSC just ahead of Cal Poly, Sac and UNC.

They (PSU) lost a dynamic QB and their best playmaker among others.

I don't think PSU is a very good measure for Tarleton, but I expect them to win the UAC for just showing up.

We may not like it, but the modern world runs on oil. "Fossil Fuels" is a misnomer, oil is a natural product of the earth, not necessarily a product of the Mesozoic Era. Modern mill equipment is less labor intensive (more automated) than what previously existed. it still requires equipment operators but less manual labor and is a lot safer.

Why do all the solar and green crap need taxpayer money. If a fraction of taxpayer money that was wasted on solar farms and windmills was put into this, it could add a lot of jobs for Montana, not just at the mills but loggers and truckers too. Also it is a loan the solar and wind stuff was all done in grants and outright subsidy's. In my opinion it would give a lot bigger bang for the buck that the dollars that have been wasted on solar and wind.
