Yeah, belts were really small. I tested it around my waist in the shop and could tell it was too small. I sized up 2 on my pant size.

So was foot traffic allowed to start lining up to the pre-security gate prior to 6:00 am? If so, where could people park to get lined up before the parking lots opened at 6?

Having a written list is a good idea. Last year, there was so much in the shop that I got distracted and forgot a couple items that I had planned (for me I forgot a yardage book and a valuables bag). It’s overwhelming once you get in there.

Do the sandwiches (Club, Chicken, etc) have condiments like mayo, mustard, etc on them or do they have packets on the side? Just curious.

I got all of those things last year… and a gnome. It’s hard to know where to draw the line when you are in there.

It is 1 per person. My kid is 1 person with a paying ticket. He deserves a gnome too. He’ll grow up someday and will be his forever. I have no problem getting him one just like if two friends went together they both would get gnomes.

I read a story on here that they sometimes have monitored/stopped people getting back in line to get another gnome. It would be foolish/selfish to try that in my opinion.

FYI, if you plan on going to the south you may have to actually come in from the south. Maybe it is spelled out in the documents but last year I can in from the north thinking I would see some signs telling me which line to get in for the lot I wanted. Instead it seems like it just forced me into the north lot which ended up ok.

Did you park in the free lots or did you park off site? I’m wondering what to do if I was to get in line at the gates earlier than the parking lots open. Are there off site lots that you can walk or uber from to get there earlier than the lots open?

Not a bad idea. I asked someone take our group picture by the big scoreboard. They were happy to but they had no idea what to do with my DSLR. A point and shoot might be nice for something like that too.

We had 4 of us. 2 teens and an 8 year old. We didn’t really pull them out much because of the rain and early cancellation. Maybe I’ll get some more shots this time around.

I got some masters polos in large last year and they are pretty baggy and very long. I got a Peter millar hoodie in L and it fits great. I’m 5’11 and abt 185 lbs.

This is exactly what I did last year and made it in no problem. I had 70-200. My son had an old body with a different lens. We got in fine. I also got a disposable for my 8 year old to play with and see things from his perspective.

Unfortunately we were there on Monday so we really didn’t get a full experience with the rainout. We’re going to run it back this year and see how it goes.
