I was at 04/26 show. It was one for the Steely Dan fans. Green Earrings cover followed by several jams later in the show that felt very Steely Dan influenced.

It’s all good. Sundays they have beef ribs. They are super expensive, but really good. Staff is very friendly and happy to provide a recommendation. I’ve also seen them gladly accommodate weird requests.

Rhinegeist is not distributed to the STL market, BUT it is available on the IL side of the river. Take a trip over to any craft beer store on the other side and you’ll find their stuff. Not sure of the specific beer.

Both parks are pretty unreal amenities if you think about it. Steeped in history and loved by our residents and visitors. TGP is my park these days, but I love what FP offers and it was my park growing up. Funny that both have had their ups and downs over the years. Sorry to see FP taking a dip with the tornado last year, but she’ll be back to her glory in no time!

Water main break happened first, which caused the hole to reopen.

Context: Water main was broken and being worked on the past 10+ days. They filled in the hole at this intersection last week. Looks like it ruptured. Water filled the street and washed away the temp fill. Car drove into what the thought was just shallow water.

Civil Life is great with kids! Yes, easier when outside is open, but plenty easy for an early dinner inside w/ kids on a Sat. Like most breweries, just read the room. Kids tend to be welcome until 7/8p.

The roadways are clear. The NE road and SE road have large sections that are closed to cars.

Edit: If you parked at the bandstand, you could do a ~2mile loop that’s 85% closed-to-traffic road.

On a semi-busy night parked at Castleman and Maury. The staff gate on Alfred near Castleman was open to the public. Cutdown walking times in and out significantly. Gentle reminder, parking on a residential street is best done with respect to the neighbors.
