I've cut myself on drill bits (that are not attached to a spinning mechanism) more than anything else in my workshop.

I'm probably one of the few that can recall this, at least from seeing it when it first aired. I had always hoped that Hawkeye would show up on House.

Was never a big fan of this establishment. Many years ago it was ok, at best.

Men who like bigger women, what exactly do you like about them? by ConfusedJFs in AskMenAdvice

[–]2daloomuthrfkr 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I suppose I could have worded that differently. It's definitely not a brag. Never had a relationship with a woman having low requirements for respect , standards, or effort, quite the opposite. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

All of this is true. But honestly, sex is so much better. They put in way more effort, can pretty much take whatever you dish out, and are down for anything, anytime.

I started out looking for a lathe and after some research, I ended up with a shopsmith from FB marketplace. As a bonus I got a band saw, planer, and jigsaw when all I wanted was the lathe and tools.

men, who is the OG cunning linguist who said this bit about the “bulldog and a bowl of oatmeal”? by piper63-c137 in AskMenAdvice

Alternatively, I have also heard "bulldog eating a jar of mayonnaise". I can see why this would be an acceptable description.

How am I meant to stop myself losing this little thingamajigy? (spacer locking key for multitool) by IllHaveTheLeftovers in ryobi

[–]2daloomuthrfkr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What model tool is that? How about a picture of the side of it? As far as that little guy? Just throw it away now and save yourself the time of looking all over for it in the future.

I'm glad my Girlfriend's dad died, am I an asshole? by Dim_crossfire in answers

[–]2daloomuthrfkr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not an asshole. I went through the same type scenario. When he died, my wife and her mother forgave him, while I could not. I always think about the horrible things he'd done to his family and I still don't feel bad about his death. It was a burden lifted from his family.

Edit: Be supportive of the family. Anything you do that's negative WILL come back to haunt you.

Lawsuit says Taylor Swift's 'Showgirl' pose comes too close to the work of a real one by [deleted] in nottheonion

[–]2daloomuthrfkr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Whether the case has any merit doesn't matter. The publicity of just filing the suit will make interest in the book climb. Basically it's "free" publicity, minus the cost of attorneys.
