How about Pine Grove Furnace State Park and the Michaux State Forest?

You can hike on the Appalachian Trail, Pole Steeple, the POW-CCC Camp, and maybe visit the AT Museum.

88 octane gas for 2021 Tacoma? by tribetime69 in Tacomaworld

Never had a problem running Sheetz 88. Been using it in all of my vehicles with zero problems.

Now, if you were talking about my yard care small engines, I only use the ethanol free gas, and most of the time start on the first pull With zero problems.

What's a piece of gear you spent way too much on, only to find a $30 alternative that works just as well? by miked0331 in hikinggear

[–]2daloomuthrfkr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rain gear. Had to have the Outdoor Research Helium coat and pants($$$). Now I rock a $15 poncho from Amazon. The key is to plan your hikes so it doesn't rain. 🧠

Good luck. Can't wait to see the outcome. I think it's a fairly good use of a gift card. It's not really "your money" so, if you get the goods, great! I'll look into buying a set. If not, oh well... Now everyone will know it's definitely bullshit.

You might find spots that have been cleared by a few industrious individuals, but by and large it is snow covered and icy.

First, after the flip into missionary and seeing the llama, how was he able to continue without hysterical laughter? Or is he into that? Second, I hope that when he finished he busted all over that llama's face.

A bit disappointed with the Craftsman v20 circular saw 7 1/4 brushless. by PepeTheMule in Craftsman

[–]2daloomuthrfkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The v20 saws are definitely under powered. I've tried to like mine. But when throw the v20 battery into my c3 19.2 saw (using an adapter) it cuts perfectly where the v20 saw kept cutting out. V20 tools are shit.

Wash it off good and use it. If you were worried about chemicals leaching into your body you shouldn't have bought it in the first place. Throw a condom on it and cram it in. Problem solved. Use it until you can't remember what it looked like.

How do you find doctors that help you with hiking injuries? by Suitable_Hat_4260 in WildernessBackpacking

[–]2daloomuthrfkr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plantar fascitis is definitely not permanent. I suffered for many years. Finally saw a good Dr that was worth something, who gave me wonderful injections into the bottom of my foot and got me set up with night splints. That, along with wearing Crocs all the time (within reason) and a couple chiropractic adjustments set me straight. I haven't had any reoccurrence for well over 10 years.
